Big and hefty little power bank!
I have only had this charger for less than 2 days and have not done a bunch of testing like draining the battery to zero and recharging it in the multiple ways it can so I can’t rate it fully on everything. But! From what I have experienced so far I am very pleased. This solar/dynamo crank/usb phone charger is my favorite of all the other models I have. This one in size dwarfs the other 3. Holds a charge a lot longer for sure. I don’t mind this being bigger and heavier. Tells me this charger isn’t a wimp. The handcrank charging is weak. Every charger I ever owned with a crank wasn’t anything to write home about and I didn’t expect this one to stun me with crank power. I have a 60 watt hand crank fast charger for more serious power generating. Anyways, I am happy with this charger so far. If anything it would have been extra cool if they built an am/fm radio into it. Then I would give it 10 stars instead of 5. Lol. We will see in the weeks ahead how well this bank holds up. I will use this several times a day just because I am a free energy nut and a prepper. I have clockwork radios, 4patriots solar generator, bluetti ac300 with x2 battery banks, a 60 watt hand crank usb fast charger, and now 4 mini phone chargers. So I kinda know a little about solar generators and hand crank power gadgets. Anyways! I went on too long, sorry! I give a thumbs up on this purchase. I think I got value for the money. 🙂

Bought one and it looks good. Plastic around the hand crank is not a great fit. The wireless charging for my phone is excellent and a lovely feature. I had bought this as a charging source for when we don’t have electricity for a long time. The first one I got did not charge on solar at all. I had a half charge still on the device. After a few hours in the sun, it had gone to 1. I returned it as defective and had another one shipped to me. I tested the solar charging from 3/4ths full. Again, instead of charging, it seemed to discharge, and I was back to a blinking single blue light. Seems to be a good battery backup, but don’t count on the solar charging at all. I will try to recreate the discharge when in the sun and if it repeats may have to tape up the solar panels to prevent it from draining the battery.Update: Customer support from GOODaaa-US reached out right away to address my concerns. Upgraded rating to 4 stars as the company stands behind their products.

Everything works as expected and advertised. However, I imagined that solar charging would charge the battery of the power station but it does not. In fact, if you attempt to use the solar panel while you still have charge left in the battery the solar connection will drain the power for some reason. Instead, the solar is designed to be used only when the battery is completely discharged. Solar will then act as pass-through charging for devices that use 5w of charging maximum. The hand crank will charge the battery when you are in a jam. I have been using this product for 2 years and it is still operating like new. I discharge the battery completely every couple of months and recharge from my 10w or my 30w usb charger. It be charged via a lightning, usb-c or mini-usb connection. It also has a usb type A connector that fits an adapter but I have never used it. The mag safe wireless charging pad operates at 5w and disconnects if you attach another device to any other port. I have not tested the compass for accuracy but it points in the correct direction.

I bought these for a service trip to South Africa knowing we’d be away from reliable power sources for much of our time there. I wanted to be able to keep my phone charged up and with me. This was the best of all worlds — you can charge by plugging it in, solar and there is a hand crank. I don’t know how long you have to crank, but kinda cool to know it’s there. The best part is that there are charging cables with all of the proper connections attached to the unit — so no need to remember cables. There is also wireless charging available.It worked great on the trip. And since returning from Africa I have used this unit a few times to charge my iPad and phone simultaneously at a couple of different sports tournaments.The downside? It is literally the size of a brick. You can’t just stuff it in your pocket. It’s not huge, but it is more than significant than your standard powerbank. The solar charging is slow, but that is universal with all of these solar units.If you know those things going in, you’ll be super excited with this unit. I can already see myself using this in a power outage, camping trip, tailgate, and about a dozen other applications. Great purchase and works great, too.
