Switched after 14 years of Kindle
After over a decade as a Kindle girly I decided to make the switch to Kobo to see what the hype was all about. I was drawn in by the fact that it has color (something Kindle didnât offer at the time), has buttons (why no new Oasis Amazon?), and has a stylus. After several months of this being my primary reading device, I like it even more now than I expected to. My favorite features are Google Drive integration, direct access to Libby book checkouts, the color, and being able to annotate directly on the page like I would with a physical book.My biggest complaint is that sometimes thereâs a bit more lag than Iâm used to with Kindle devices. Itâs not a dealbreaker for me, but it is noticeable from time to time. Writing with the stylus is not quite as nice as it is on my Kindle scribe (which I still use daily for work purposes), but itâs decent enough.Overall Iâm VERY happy with this purchase and Iâm not sure Iâll ever go back to kindle again.
