How to switch s mode
On your PC running Windows in S mode, open Settings > Update & Security > Activation.
In the Switch to Windows Home, select Go to the Store. (If you also see an “Upgrade your edition of Windows” section, be careful not to click the “Go to the Store” link that appears there.)
On the Switch out of S mode (or similar) page that appears in the Microsoft Store, select the Get button. After you see a confirmation message on the page, you’ll be able to install apps from outside of the Microsoft Store.

August 2024: Keeps giving me blue screen of death not related to crowdstrike at all. It was cheap, probably used and had issues, they fixed them and didnât fully go away. The computer is slow and not functional. Just buy a laptop from the company directly not worth it, Iâm literally two months into a certificate I canât finish now.January 2024: Disregard previous update it was my hdmi to one of my tvs that made it weird good laptopWas eyeing down this laptop for a whileI intend to freelance web design and program on the side, hence the 16gb of ram.I have a work laptop so I was really needing a personal one for a while, as mine was slowly dying (Iâve had since feb 2018).Iâve always had hps and never had a problem until they die, that is to be expected. I also heavily use databases and GIS. Especially programming for work, so I intend to freelance this on the side, hope it works out.Overall all the specs are awesome for the price, whether itâs new or renewed, for the price Iâd assume it was renewed but it looks brand new! No scratches or nothing.Only negative again being no backlit keyboard, sure you can get a cover on Amazon that lights up in the dark (especially for us mad programmer tech people).Get it!Will review in a few months.

I got the 16gb 64gb emmc for online college and it’s working out great so far. I have no issues at all but I will update later if I do. I am going for a business degree so not like I do much other than excel, power point, and essays. The only thing is I wish it had a number pad but with small laptops like this that’s standard so I expected it to not have one. Love the amount of USB ports though.
