Ladies! Get it!
I’ve tried many razors that are marketed towards both men and women. Billie, Venus, Schick, and other brands I can’t name. Prior to this razor, my favorite was the Gillette fusion. This razor was ~relieving~ to use. It easily glided through my coarse leg hair and left my legs soo smooth and nick free. It has a good balanced with to it and the carry case is sturdy- but it’s too big, which is just unnecessary, spare blades could be mounted without the additional width. Anyways, Women’s razors are straight garbage. Skip them, get this.

Love it. This is actually the second one Iâve bought. Iâm using it specifically for travelling. The travel case it comes with is very nice and Iâve never seen anyone make a better travel case than Gillette. I have no idea if the exfoliating bar works but the blades do wonders. Compared to anything else on the market these blades last longer. The metal/rubber/plastic design of the razor itself feels extra premium. This is a luxury product as the blades go anywhere from 4.44-6 dollars each. Gillette says it gets you 20 shaves. I get about 23 until itâs uncomfortable. This razor is the closest shave Iâve ever gotten. The blade will still cut me in my sensitive neck areas sometimes if Iâm not careful but most of the time itâs smooth and you donât feel it. I pair this with Gillette labs rapid foaming gel because itâs the only gel that doesnât have extra ingredients that irritate my skin. And it still has menthol. I currently use the Gillette labs rapid absorbing moisturizer(basically doubles as an aftershave balm) along with Gillette skin guard moisturizer for my entire face afterwards. This regimen seems to keep my face nice, smooth and moisturized throughout the day. My stubble also grows back thicker due to the extra close shaves. If you like effortless shaves or fast efficient comfortable shaves this is for you. It is a luxury as there are cheaper ways to get the job done but if you budget accordingly and enjoy your experience with it itâs well worth it. This is a great gift for someone to upgrade their shave. If youâre not sure just get the single razor and cartridge bundle and see if itâs right for you. When I first bought this razor I thought I was wasting my money. I was not. I found a sleek and elegant razor paired with the best shave gel Iâve ever tried. Gillette has all this controversy about their 2019 commercial and itâs super annoying. Men apparently have to have their egos stroked 24/7 to be satisfied with a product. Not me. Iâve seen men do great things and terrible things. I always have room to grow. This is a product for men who want simplicity, an extremely close shave, and luxury mixed in with their morning routine. Self care is important, and while these arenât the cheapest or least wasteful razors and blades on the planet, they will get you excited to shave, and I highly recommend them, especially if youâre looking for luxury and arenât ready for safety razors yet.

Best Gillette Yet
I’ve been a user of the Fusion razor and have always only been sort of satisfied with that product. For me, it was the best cartridge razor I could find so I just tolerated the small amount of burn and occasional razor bump for the convenience of the cartridge.Then I saw an ad for the “Lab” version of the new Gillette. I figured it was just another big razor company gimmick to sell a slightly different handle and the same razor – all for just more money. But I was wrong. Amazon gave me a deal that made them about the same cost as my Fusion so I gave them a trial run. I must say I was impressed.My beard is normal to slightly course. I have always had to tolerate a small amount of razor burn and considered it normal. But, this might change that paradigm. The edge is sharper and cuts without resistance. I’m left with a clean shave and almost no evidence in terms of left-behind redness or ingrown hairs.The razor looks structurally similar to the Fusion but this is definitely much sharper. And, after my two week trial it is lasting longer. I was changing my Fusion blade about every 5-7 days and I’m still on the same Labs blade without much of a decrease in razor efficiency. I’ll probably get a total of about 20 shaves out of it before changing.If you are like me and think this was just another ploy to sell more razors, think again, and give it a try. You may be surprised like I was in the end.
