Excellent for kids
Got this as a gift for my niece and she is loving it. The screen quality could have been better but this tablet provides all that a small kid would need rather than spending some big bucks on an actual tablet. It is sturdy as well as she has already dropped it twice and is still functioning. Has good learning apps for small kids. System feels laggy though.

Ordered this as a Christmas gift in Sept. Window to return it closed in Oct. The BIG GIFT for my granddaughter won’t connect to the internet in her house, so she can’t use it, and nobody in technical support is answering emails as they promised they would in the instructions for contacting tech support. So, we have a nice, blue sculpture that LOOKS like a kids’ tablet, but doesn’t work like a kids’ tablet. Complete waste of money.

Great for toddlers, user friendly, easy set up
I purchased this tablet for my 2 y/o son, and he absolutely loved it. The kids profile and customization was really appealing and a fun aspect of the product, and we really enjoyed customizing his avatar. The display is really inviting and easy to use, and it’s very durable (as that was something I was worried about, since my son can be aggressive and toss objects or smack them). It’s a steal for the price, and the customer service is some of the best I’ve encountered on Amazon/online.Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase!

Quick glance:-Itâs big!-So easy to navigate-tons available; NO subscription needed!!!-customizable-powered by Google-easy parental controlI love the big size and the screen is very clear so visibility on this is awesome. Iâm comparing to the Amazon tablet that has a kind of haze to it⦠for lack of a better word. This one actually looks like an iPad rather than a kindle⦠hope that make sense.When you first open it the screen cover has nice little descriptions where everything is. VERY user friendly!!You set up a Kids Space which becomes the Home Screen. (Vs other devices where your Home Screen has app icons.) itâs easy to see where your content is, if you want to play, create, read, or watch.â!!There are already tons of games or books ready to go!! â This is something frustrating on the Amazon tablet is that if you want to play a game or read a book you have to have it downloaded first, even if connected to wifi. And with this, the books and such are free. You donât have to sign up for anything or pay for them! Of course, there is an option to buy specific books you may want.There IS totally a way to add more apps. (Changing parental controls I found Netflix). You get to set the parental controls so it actually asks me every time beforehand. You get access to GooglePlay App Store. Easy peasy.They say full battery can provide 4 hrs of screentime.One of my biggest holdbacks with the Amazon tablet is the required subscription. Yeah itâs free the first year but after that⦠I just really donât like that. So that is one of the biggest points here is you can have a really nice functioning tablet for one price, no on-going commitments!!Seriously, this is the way to go! I love how clear it is and easy to navigate. Awesome size! Itâs all through Google so you can sync if you want. Awesome value for a great price. Highly recommend!!PS Remember this is designed for kids. You do get to set the parental controls and you link your account to it too. They work hard to have it safe and educational.Also to note, right out of the box it was a little laggy. I hadnât charged it yet. And honestly itâs not any slower than the Amazon tablet so I think thatâs kinda the nature of this toy. Hoping that improves. Iâm also looking forward to seeing what content I can download / whatâs available offline for road-trips. Will update when I know more!!

Touch screen does not work
Got this for my daughter for Christmas. As soon as she opens it, we try setting it up. The touch screen will not work, it freezes. The iPad fails to connect to wifi. The power button fell off when we turned it on. The bottom part of the screen is sticking out, not even pushed in. Too late to return cause I bought it early back in August/September for her to open for Christmas and itâs absolute junk. Donât waste your money.
