Excellent value in this refubished laptop
I bought this laptop as an economical, secondary computer, to take with me when I travel. It cost me a small fraction of what I paid for my primary computer, so I don’t worry about it getting stolen, lost or damaged when travelling overseas. But now I’ve grown to prefer using this little refurbished laptop. I use it every day.This is the first refurbished laptop I’ve ever bought, so I was wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was surprised and delighted by its excellent performance and condition. In short, it has given me excellent value for what I paid, so I gave it five stars.

Don’t Do It!
Update: I will never buy a refurbished laptop again. Bad enough some of the short cut keys did not work upon receiving it, now the mouse button is stuck in a compressed position. To make matters worse after being on for about 15 minutes the screen slowly fades to white then just goes blank. Clearly something is wrong with the OS. Now I have to bring it in for servicing. I have had it for four months and now will wind up paying for repairs that will probably add up to a combined cost of buying a new one.Don’t waste your money! Buy a new one.I just received this and am disappointed already. They provide a check list on what they claim is passed all tests. You can not shut off the volume using the keyboard shortcut. The mouse is all over the screen and multiple adjustments to the speed do not seem to solve that. I will use a wireless mouse instead which is no big deal as it saves wear and tear on the keyboard which is one of the things that failed on my previous laptop. It is early and this is preowned. I will provide an update on all functions after a more lengthy time of using it.

Came with battery depleted, CMOS needing attention and unable to boot to windows.
The laptop apereas to be in a physically clean state with no visible damage or wear. The laptop arrived on time and was well packaged.The Laptop would not start and first and the CMOS required attention. The battery was depleted. The CMOS log listed warnings about the adapter and the low battery state but apparently were un-headed. After completing the needed CMOS setting, the laptop errored booting to windows and wanted repaired. I reprogramed the laptop. None of these problems where insurmountable for me but a novice user would have had to send this one back.

DELL comes to the rescue again!
My previous refurbished Dell died after many years of use. I didn’t want a Touch screen or Windows 11 and tried a different brand. Not good enough – sent it back and got another refurbished Dell which had all the features I was used to, and a lit keyboard to boot. It’s a solid laptop with great keys that you don’t slip off of and it’s fast. You can’t go wrong with Dell.

Laptop works well, loads pretty quicklyâ¦runs sims 4 with all kinds of mods..runs videos, movies (isnât the best quality but works) but the top left corner of the laptop plastic came broken and wonât close. Also it doesnât hold charge so I have to replace battery.

I am very happy with this computer I purchased it for use by one of clubs in my retirement community. I have purchased a number of refurbished computers for clubs and committees in my retirement community and this laptop gives me the most bang for the buck of all the computers I purchased for our community. Not only did it work as advertised but it out performs the majority of the computers I currently support in the more than 50 people I support in my retirement community.

Complete waste of money
On arrival I was very pleased with the laptop, it was a huge upgrade from my old one. But exactly one month to the day the unit died while I was using it. Tried the static discharge procedures but it won’t power on at all. I’ve ordered a new charger and new battery and we’ll see if that fixes it. If not then we’ll see what kind of service you get when you ask to have it repaired. Not happy at all. I spent a lot of time moving all my files etc over to the new laptop. Huge letdown to have it fail so soon.Update. Because I had personal information stored on this laptop I chose to attempt to fix the issue myself. I purchased a new battery, new charging cord, new charging port and none of that resolved the issue. I next purchased an external hard drive enclosure so I could retrieve my files and wipe them from the hard drive before attempting a return which I’m sure they will say can’t be done as I have opened the unit and changed out parts. There is NO hard drive in the laptop. None. I’m not the most tech savvy person on the planet but it was my understanding that in order to operate a system without a hard drive it required booting from another terminal via a LAN or USB connection. So, this thing ran for a month (exactly), total shutdown, won’t power up or show any power display of any kind and yet the itens I had stored (where???) are lost. It showed a C drive where I was storing files but I have no idea now where to look now.
