Its fast, reasonably priced, and easily performs normal tasks
I was looking for a replacement for my old home use e machine desktop that had worked faithfully since 2010. Since the windows 7 operating system is no longer supported and its service life was probably near the end, it was time to shop for a suitable upgrade. Since i am not a gamer and only use my home pc for basic email, web surfing etc. I did not need a high end machine. Searching the web i narrowed my choice down to this machine. One thing in particular i wanted was a solid state hard drive. This computer has one big enough for my needs and makes the computer very fast. Start up takes about 15 seconds and shut down only takes 5 seconds! Windows 10 takes a bit to get used to and i can say it is a better overall platform to use. All in all I am very pleased with this computer so far and have had no issues or complaints about it other than you might want to upgrade the keyboard and mouse. The one supplied is a bit small and im tending to miss type quite a few words. Other than that, it appears to be a good solid pc. Only time will tell how durable it turns out to be. Hopefully as good as the e-machine which still works after 14 years but is slow compared to this Acer.

Very nice inexpensive gaming / business / personal computer
No, don’t take my title to mean that this is a top shelf gaming computer, because it is not. But it has more power than most pre-made computers in it’s price range, and it can play most games pretty well. Also, don’t think you’re going to buy it to leverage it’s overall power by upgrading the Video or CPU. 1) This hardware comes to you already maxed out. 2) This motherboard are built to discourage or prevent most upgrades. And don’t expect to find any hardware encouragement to upgrade more than the amount of RAM and swapping out and or adding another drive. If you want a general use computer that won’t be totally out of date in 3 years, I think you won’t be disappointed with this choice.I haven’t thrown anything heavy at it yet, but it boot’s fast, is fast on the fly, and is quiet enough that I am not always aware of whether it’s on or off.Hasn’t disappointed me yet.

Not for gaming, no SATA power only slimline
This PC is great for desktop applications, however an upgrade to a 1050ti or something that doesn’t require more power is necessary, and that’s actually all that is possible due to the power supply. One very important note, the power supply is custom, and the motherboard uses a 6+4 pin setup (not 24). From what I read the power supply doesn’t have a replacement readily available, and has no full SATA power at all, only slimline (comes with only an M2 and DVD). This PC is great out of the box though, Acer still does a good build for a great value.

Nice machine, great for linux too
I needed a new computer. Mine is used for many tasks, stays in a fixed location, and helps run a Amateur Radio station. So, a few radios are connected, along with the usual stuff, mouse, keyboard, etc. I have had Acer computers before, with never a problem. When the computer arrived, I registered it via the internet, and the windows software as well. Since I use Kubuntu linux, I loaded Kubuntu 20.04 and made the machine a dual-boot. This has worked flawlessly. Kubuntu recognized all hardware with no issues. The machine is now running the station with not even a hiccup.I think this is a very nice machine, it’s quick, quiet, and the built in wireless is a nice touch, though I use a wired connection. I do think the keyboard is small, but I intended to use my old Microsoft keyboard anyway and will make that change soon. I’m always concerned with new equipment at my station, if it will cause interference to my receivers, but so far, this seems to be just fine. Nothing I have noticed that would be of concern. This was a nice addition and welcome change from my nearly ten year old previous machine.

    Love this desktop–so fast
I love this Acer with the AMD Ryzen 5 chip! The computer is super fast it was very easy to set up and it has the 12 gig of memory and I purchased this as a replacement for another Acer that had an Icore 5chip that was defective. The CD-ROM is quiet, the computer is fast and I got it for a great price. I would highly recommend this desktop computer. With the rysen chip I know that can computer is good for gaming but I don’t game so I can’t speak to gaming performance.

Product broken for no reason at all
I’ve had this for 3 years and today out of nowhere it turned off and will not turn back on, nothing has been done to it, no virus’, been treated very well and only use it to make music and now the only thing that makes me happy (making music) has been taken from me because this product stopping working for no reason at all. If I can’t get any product support or a replacement I will never use this company again, even if I do all my hard work is now completely gone and I can never get it back. So either way, this company is north worth all the time, effort, blood sweat and tears that have just been ripped from me.
