    Really great for the price
I’ve always drawn via notebook so I wanted to switch to digital since I have a gaming pc. This tablet was life changing. I use it on Krita and Gimp mainly but it works with pretty much any program. I draw and take notes with it, as then pen pressure is great. The buttons are programmable as well and the software is straightforward. Not to mention I even use it as a double monitor sometimes. I don’t know the specs exactly, but i watch youtube on it just fine without any noticeable frame or quality drops. The pen can be *slightly* off from the actual brush stroke, even after recalibrating it sometimes, but its minimal and hasn’t overall been an issue for me.

A Good Drawing Tablet For The Price Range
I’ve had this drawing tablet for the past few months, and it’s been doing me very well. This is the first screen tablet that I’ve had that directly connects to my computer, and though it was a bit strange to get used to, it is ultimately worth the price. The tablet screen is a lot bigger than I thought it would be, taking up a sizable portion of my desk. If you’re looking to have a dual monitor setup, this tablet is a great option for that. However, from what I’ve found, you can only draw it if you have it registered as Display 1, which can be a little annoying at times when you’re trying to play a game on your preferred monitor but it defaults to your tablet off to the side. I’m not sure if there’s a way to change this, but it’s just something to deal with, I guess. The pen nibs also seem to be a little bit quick to wear, but the tablet does come with a sizable amount of extra nibs in the pen holder. The pen itself doesn’t need to be charged, and it isn’t battery operated. I do have a bit of issue with trying to figure out my preferred pressure settings, but that’s something I’ve always had a difficult time with, so I’m very confident that the fault isn’t with the tablet itself and is just me being dumb.Although this tablet is great for its price, there are a couple of issues. It doesn’t come with a screen protector–I’ve only had it for a few months, and it’s already got a few scratches on it. I also noticed a few days ago when I was drawing that a single pixel was out, and I’m not sure if this is something that will end up spreading to the rest of the tablet overtime. It’s small enough that I didn’t notice it until I was right up close, but it was still there. The tablet’s color settings is also noticeably different from the monitor I usually use. For some reason, it seems like red and oranges are a little more washed out than what would be on the other monitor, and that also spreads to other colors, as well. I think that this is a pretty significant problem–when you’re working on coloring in a piece of artwork, you naturally want to work with it in the same color settings everyone else would see it with. I tried tinkering with the settings and still haven’t found the correct settings for it.This is probably the BIGGEST issue, though–the buttons. The shortcut keys on the left side of the tablet aren’t actual buttons–when I was starting out with using it, I constantly accidentally pressed buttons that I didn’t want to press. In the end, I stopped using them altogether.HOWEVER, I was having a serious issue for a good month or so where whenever my tablet driver was active, it was registering the buttons as being pressed when I wasn’t even touching them. This made drawing pretty much impossible, and when I was in YouTube or Discord, it’d randomly pause videos, type in brackets, or zoom out significantly. I managed to fix the problem by turning off keyboard compatibility since I never use them anyway (luckily the pen’s buttons still work), but this was a serious issue that freaked me out and had me struggling for the better part of two months up until a few weeks ago. I have absolutely no idea why it started.Other than these slight hiccups and oversights, I genuinely do enjoy using my tablet. Considering it’s cheaper than most of the high-name brands out there (and it has an absolutely MASSIVE screen), I don’t regret my purchase and consider this a damn good deal.

Great value for money, especially for beginner/hobbyist use
I’m a professional artist, working with bitmaps (Photoshop, Corel Painter), vectors (CorelDraw), and 3D assets (Maya), and usually work on my Wacom Cintiq that’s connected to my workstation. I bought this tablet to use with my laptop, to allow me to do art for fun in my free time, while lounging on the couch. This is my first budget art tablet, and I really didn’t know what to expect. I have now used it for a few hours for vector art in CorelDraw and to paint in Painter, and over all, I’ve found it to be very usable. I would definitely buy it again, knowing what I know now.PROS:- Small and easy to use while hanging out on my couch, drawing for fun;- Rubber pads on back of tablet add traction, so it can be used on an inclined surface;- Color rendering of this screen is good. Absolutely no complaints. If your art is primarily intended to be viewed on screens, you’ll be happy with the results. I don’t have a color calibration tool, so take this with a grain of salt.- Worked exactly as described, even before I installed the Gaomon driver (I had Wacom driver installed already, and it didn’t seem to interfere with Gaomon functioning). Once I had the driver, I was able to customize the pen and shortcut buttons.- Appears durable and well-built. I’ve been using it as a secondary monitor next to my laptop daily, and drew on it for a few hours over the past two weeks, and didn’t notice any issues. Buttons feel solid, there are no dead pixels, and the tablet as a whole feels solid as well. I haven’t tried sitting on it, but normal stresses of carrying it under my arm together with my laptop haven’t resulted in any damage. The stylus didn’t leave any marks on the glass either. I can see this tablet lasting for a few years.- Super-affordable. I bought this tablet from Amazon Warehouse and paid 99 bucks for it. At that price point, this tablet offers excellent value. Even at full list price, it only costs as much as a few pads of high-quality drawing paper, and less than a set of 72 Copic markers.CONS:- Stiff cables, and too many of them for the year 2022. The tablet has two cables that connect to your computer: an HDMI and a USB-A. Especially the HDMI one is very stiff and makes it difficult to move either the laptop or the tablet without tugging on the cables and moving the other device. If used on a desk, that’s probably not a huge issue, but for my use case, it’s a noticeable inconvenience.- Cable the third is for the power supply and it’s not separate from the data ones, but rather is part of a wire harness with the other two, coming off the end that’s closest to the laptop, so this limits where you can plug it into an outlet. Again, not a huge gripe, and I have used a small extension cable to get the power to the tablet, so easy to work around.- In 2015, this would have been fine, but in 2022, all of the data and power needs of this tablet can be served with a single USB-C cable, which can be much more flexible, and also easily replaceable. The power/data wire harness that the tablet comes with isn’t easily replaced, because there is no independent power input on the device, only mini-HDMI and USB-C. Given my use case, I just have to be extra-cautious when using the tablet on the couch, with the laptop off to one side.- Relatively small screen to work on. On one hand, great form factor for doodling in my free time, but I couldn’t use it for work full-time. YMMV of course.- Noticeable parallax (the perceived difference between where you have the tip of your pen and where the cursor actually appears on-screen). In the middle of the screen it’s mostly fine, but the issue becomes more and more pronounced as you move towards the edges of the screen, to the point where I routinely miss the scroll bars when I try to move the drawing I’m working on (up-down or left-right). I have calibrated the screen, but the fundamental issue is that the glass between the LCD display and the tip of the pen has thickness, and it becomes more noticeable as the pen moves farther away from the point directly in front of your eyes.To say it in a different way: On this tablet, the cursor is always precisely under the tip of the pen if you look at it straight from the top, but as you draw, you move your hand all over the surface of the tablet, and as you’re looking at it a bit more from the side, you can see more and more of that glass separating your stylus from the image on the screen, making it *look* as if the cursor position was off, and it’s distracting. Wacom does some magic to compensate for that (but it’s not a fair comparison at 10x the price difference), and that’s why for my full-time work I’m sticking with them. For relaxed doodling, this isn’t a problem, and I’m absolutely happy with the tablet. It’s also possible that if I used this tablet for more hours daily, I’d get used to the parallax. Either way, not a deal-breaker.To reiterate: I would totally buy this tablet again, and I’m happy with the purchase.

So, I’ve been using the tablet for over a month now and honestly it’s superb.I used to own a Wacom, and honestly the Gaomon is on par.It feels just as comfortable to use, the screen has great visibility, no glare and the pen is impressively responsive. The preloaded hockey’s are pretty solid, but super easy to change in the software. It feels nice and sturdy, with top quality design.Make sure you download Gaomons drivers abd software to change the screen the tablet responds to immediately. Its super easy. That way your cursor is only on the tablets screen while using the pen, abd not your computer monitor. No need to fiddle around with PC settings. It works beautifully with Sketchbook Pro.My main complaint is that you have to buy the stand separately rather than offering a bundle including it.If you want to start getting into digital art, and require a screen (like me) I absolutely reccomend this tablet. It costs a fraction of the premium brand, while offering similar quality, and includes accessories such as pen nib replacements, and a drawing glove.

A fantastic drawing tablet at a good price. Has all the necessary drawing features. Large and easy to use and install. Has an angle adjusted bracket for work on desktops. Comes with spare nibs and glove. A recommended tool for beginner artists looking for a medium priced drawing tablet.
