Easy to use, decent speaker
I got this for mom for Christmas, and she was impressed, which isn’t hard when it comes to technology beyond the answering machine or any sort of gizmo or gadget, but what is actually impressive is it is so simple she can actually use it. I will still have to help her if the Bluetooth disconnects, but we went over off, on, volume up and down, and now she can cook and watch her Judge Judy on her phone, just like the old days like she did with her little black and white tv set in the kitchen. I love my mom, she is the greatest! This was the perfect gift!

I love this thing!
To start, the quality is excellent. The volume will turn up as loud as I want, and the sound is really good. I can carry it around the house as I move from room to room listening to my podcast or YouTube videos or whatever I’m listening to. It has a place to hold my phone if I want to place it there. And I haven’t used it in the car yet, but next road trip I’ll take it with me so my husband and I can listen easily to the things we like to listen to. I am so happy with this I can’t recommend it enough.

Easy to connect; just press and hold Play button. In device setting under BT, select the X8pro and itâs connected. Very good sound. Item pics are misleading, but fine print does state there is no wireless charging and to buy the wireless separately, but no link to a compatible charger that will fit. Otherwise, exactly as advertised.

Great sounding speaker and iPhone stand
Pairing this Bluetooth stand was simple.The sound is amazing.One of my co workers noticed how loud the speaker was when I paired it to my iPhone 13 and played âCynthiaâs player projectionsâ off of the NFL app (and the volume was real low).He asked me if this had surround sound and he also asked me to send him a link to be able to purchase it(I read the description and I saw that itâs supposed to have HD stereo sound).I decided to test this device out by watching Monday night football (49ers vs Vikings).The commentary and the yelling from the crowd sound clear.I was watching the football game in one of the break rooms. I had place the stand on the table and itâs was very stable.It feels as if itâs built to last.My iPhone 13 sits nicely in the holder but I was a bit disappointed when I tried to adjust the height.The height isnât as flexible and or adjustable as I thought it would be.I wanted to be able to lift the holder up higher so my phone screen could be at my eye level instead of me having to look down but I wasnât able to. I would have to stack some books or whatever else I think to use and place the stand on top of them in order for it to be at a level that I am more comfortable with. My suggestion is to make a newer version that lets you lift the holder up higher at face or eye level like other stands allow you to.Iâm also confused by some of its features as well.This product Amazon page says itâs waterproof but the booklet that comes in the box says the product is for indoor use and does not support waterproof ð¦ ð³!I donât know which one to believe.

It seems like a perfect fit, but before this product I never saw it in practice.The stand itself folds flat and it is quite portable. You could fold it up and place it in a briefcase, backpack, or purse. You literally could take it anywhere. The charging port on the back is a USB-C connection, which I personally think is excellent.The stand charges within a couple hours, and this will yield many hours of play before requiring the need to recharge the internal battery.Having a speaker in your phone stand opens up so many possibilities for applications. One thing we were able to use this for immediately is video conference calls as well as audio conference calls. The sound is terrific for both of these applications. The ability to raise and lower the sound is excellent, and you are able to pause music by pressing the play key.The two-in-one stand has little rubber feet on the bottom so that it does not slide all over the table and it protects the surface of whatever you are resting it on. There is a microphone embedded in the front of the stand which makes video and audio calls possible.This product is not rated for dust or water contact and in the precautions it states to use the product in a dry environment. I would not use this product outdoors or in area where there is excessive amounts of moisture.Gamers can also use this stand along with a Nintendo switch console. The Bluetooth connects to the Bluetooth audio of the Nintendo switch, and the stand allows you to play using either the joy cons or a pro controller. It is actually pretty cool to be able to play Switch with somebody and not need a dock.All in all, this phone stand creates more solutions than problems, and I like that in a product. At the time of ordering, the price of this 2-in-1 phone stand was $30. At this price point I feel that there is huge value to be had.I recommend this phone stand to others based on the value, the quality of the build, and the richness of the sound it produces. PROS:Pairing- Bluetooth pairing on this was so simple. Holding down the power button puts it in pairing mode and it appears on your device immediately and easily identifiable. Select it and you’re good to go.Sound Quality- Decent sound quality given it’s size. I’ve had a number of bluetooth speakers and I expected this one to have some hollowness to the sound. No hollowness- pretty good quality overall. The bass is what surprised me the most, maybe because I was expecting much less from a small speaker.Portability- The phone cradle folds up really nicely for storage. Overall size is probably comparable to 2-3 small cell phones stacked on top of one another.Charging cord- cord is probably about 2′ in length which is much more than what a lot of these devices are coming with now…. usually 4-6″ of cord.CONS:Cradle- if you’re not using the phone cradle, it still has to be up and open, otherwise it will cover the sound source.Power indicator- There’s nothing on the speaker that indicates it’s power level, so I suppose you should probably charge it before heading out to use it each time.Application- Given that it has a cradle with nothing to secure your phone, I think safe to assume this is meant to be kept in a stable and level location like a desk or table or maybe on the patio.OVERALL: Good speaker that is easy to use and has good quality sound, but for me, there are other designs out there that allow for much more versatility of use. This is a great product and does what it says it will do, and does it fairly well…. but…. this isn’t the one I’d take with me on a bike ride or on the golf cart.

So for something to just hold you up your phone I guess it’s okay but the speaker quality isn’t super amazing and it is just kind of eh! I think you’re better off getting a stand that’s meant to just be a stand or a Bluetooth speaker that’s meant to just be a speaker. But when you can find the two together, you just get kind of something that is not doing either the best. Hope that helps.

This powerful, rechargeable speaker stand can boost sound very loud, is sturdy, well built, and easy to use. It’s also compact; you can flatten it and carry it easily in a bag.I love that it’s rechargeable–no batteries to waste, just plug the Type-C charging cable (included) into the port at the back, then into a USB charger. It didn’t say how long to charge it for, so I just guessed.It’s easy to set up–turn on the bluetooth on your cell phone, tablet, or other device, press and hold the the play button on the speaker stand for two seconds, and it will turn on and look to connect to bluetooth. It comes up as X8 for bluetooth connection, and pairing was fast and easy. It will automatically look to connect to the last device it connected to, so if you want it to connect to a new one, turn off the bluetooth on the last device you used while it searches for bluetooth. The included instruction manual is also well written and helpful..I was impressed with how loud and powerful the speaker was. It was SO much louder than my cell phone or tablet, and made it super easy to hear callers, videos, and more. You can also turn up or lower the volume.When I was on calls with people, I did hear a faint hiss and very slight distortion–but the voices were loud and easy to hear. The included microphone worked well; people had no trouble hearing me.The stand feels very sturdy and solid, even though it’s made of plastic; it feels durable. There are four little silicone or rubber dots on the bottom of the unit to keep it from sliding, and the part of the stand that your phone rests against also has a softer silicone backing, which helps to keep your phone in place. There are also two hooks that your phone or tablet rests on to keep it in place. You can pull out the bottom of the stand at any angle you want, which makes it easy to hold your device, and to put it at the angle you want for viewing.It was able to hold my cell phone and a larger, heavy tablet with no problem at all, and to connect to both devices.You can also use the buttons for additional functions: short press the play button to play/pause or to answer/hang up a call; double click to reject a call or disconnect. + short press to increase the volume, long press for the next track. – short press to decrease the volume, long press for last track. And you can press both + and – together for 5 seconds to clear the connection records.Led lights on the device show when the power is on or off, searching, connected, charging, or fully charged depending on the colour or whether it’s on or off.I was surprised at just how loud and powerful the speaker was, how sturdy the stand was, and how well it works, especially at this price point. It makes small devices SO much better in terms of sound, volume, ease of listening to.

It’s obviously not the sort of speaker you want to be using if you want to have some party background music on, for example. This speaker just isn’t built for that sort of thing. But for a nice, private speaker system, whilst keeping your phone sturdy, this works out well.
