Nice improvement!
I bought this ifi power supply to replace the standard power supply of my Shiit Modi+ DAC. I noticed that the bass was more tighter and clearer, the separation between instruments got better. Overall it was a nice improvement. Is it worth it? Yes. I would recommend it.

Works with Roku Ultra?
Sound pretty impressive. I listen either music from hard drive or from Spotify app, both from Roku Ultra, and then fed into Meridian Direct dac. Sense of “heighten” sound and with much “wideness” if thats your flavor. Who knew.

A must have to reduce noise
I have since upgraded my DAC to a TOTL model which utilizes an internal streamer card via ethernet through Roon. However, I have a few smaller DACs that I still keep around for various reasons, and most of them don’t have galvanic isolation. One way of reducing USB noise without streaming is either using a S/PDIF connection, but this is a great way of reducing noise, as well. For example, the first time I got one of my DACs, I thought that something was seriously wrong with it. I won’t mention brand names, but it was a cheaper budget DAC, and it didn’t have galvanic isolation. I have a gaming PC where I keep a little DAC/amp setup, and my USB connection to the DAC was causing a large amount of glare and harshness. Using a basic power supply eased it a bit, but one of my friends let me borrow this iFi power supply, and I knew I had to have it. It’s very high quality and basically solved all of my issues with unwanted glare and harshness. It’s really good at helping out noise. No, this isn’t the be all end all solution like streaming is or getting a S/PDIF to USB interface, but it still really does a great job of cancelling out a lot of USB nasties.

Great video upgrade for Roku
I bought this on a whim thinking I’ll just send it back if it doesn’t make any difference.I have a 5 year old LG OLED 65 inch TV and I watch everything with a Roku streaming stick 4k… Picture quality has been quite good and I turn off all the bs video processing settings.After installing this power supply which replaced a decent quality USB power supply I had been using on the Roku I couldn’t believe it, the picture is night and day better. The depth in the picture is almost 3D, film grain looks so good on older stuff like I just started watching the Mission Impossible series from the 60s that looks remastered on Paramount+ and it’s incredible, looks awesome …Really major upgrade just getting all the noise out of the signal starting at the Roku. I already have my entire system powered through a $2k Equitech balanced power conditioner which is great, but the mediocre USB power supply was noisy and now I can see what my OLED can really do with a clean source.

Subtle improvement in sounf quality.
This replaced the WiiM Pro power supply. My system now seems to sound just a bit more open, just a bit more detailed, and the image is just a bit sharper. This is not a night and day difference, but I think it was worth the $70 I spent on it.

I was skeptical, but pleasantly surprised!
I have a small desktop 2.1 system that includes a Topping E50, Douk tube preamp eq, and a Dared MP5BT hybrid tube amp with some DIY mini bookshelf speakers (with planar ribbon tweeters that are very revealing), and a Martin Logan Grotto servo subwoofer. After seeing reviewers (like iiWi) explain in detail their experiences with different power supplies, I figured it was worth a shot. So I grabbed this iFi piece as well as the Viborg HiFi USB cable and A/B’d both upgrades. It’s difficult to say which made the most difference, but I’d give a slight edge to the iFi power supply. My setup is definitely a bit on the bright side, and this toned down a bit of the “crunchiness” and sibilance. The sound is much warmer and richer, and the soundstage is better defined. The notes on an upright bass in a jazz track were also much more pronounced. Even the level was a bit higher with the USB cable… which I fail to understand how that would happen. Possibly dynamic headroom? With my particular setup, both the power supply and the USB cable had a similar effect, but the two pieces worked well together, and was a significant improvement to my ears. I really expected I’d be returning at least one of these pieces, but for just about $100 for both, it’s a no-brainer in my book.

Good value, hard to determine if it made a difference
Purchased to power a Wiim Pro streamer since I had invested in high end headphones and a decent amplifier, to eliminate power supply issues as a potential weak link in the chain. I can’t objectively test whether it makes a difference but it does provide a sturdier, linear power option at reasonable cost.

At first I couldn’t hear a difference, then it slowly started to develop a warmer sound. I turned my tone controls to direct and now it sounds awesome.

Estaba indeciso de adquirir este producto. TenÃa la duda de si realmente tendrÃa un efecto positivo al usarlo con mi Zen Air Dac ya que a comparación de otros dispositivos genéricos el precio es relativamente más elevado. Y al consultar las opiniones en su mayorÃa positivas, me animé a pedirlo… Y cuál fue el resultado? Pues realmente se nota una amplitud en el sonido, una separación más pronunciada, más detallado y limpio. No es que vaya potenciar el sonido del dac o algo asÃ, pero realmente lo pule, le da más fidelidad que al alimentarlo por USB. En resumen el complemento perfecto para los productos de la misma marca Ifi y me imagino que funciona para las demás marcas. Si quiera o puedes darte el gusto de pedirlo, no lo duden!
