Great item!
I wanted a galaxy tablet for a long time, but they were out of my price range. I found this one and I’m glad I ordered it. Like the other reviews say, it needs to be configured to your area, and some of the apps will bring up the Arabian information (like weather :)) but you can easily put in what your information is. I’m super happy with it. I’m not a high level user. I use it for browsing the web and playing some games from the play store. For what I need, this tablet does the job, and you can’t beat the price. I even put the kindle app on it so I can read books! Without my glasses! 🙂

I ordered a A7 Lite from another retailer on sale (WM) and it just wasn’t doing the job. After watching a few YouTube videos I decided I didn’t want to spend the extra bucks for the A9. Until I found this. Yes it’s Middle East, and after setting it up I can’t tell. NO ISSUES with set up. I picked UAE and that was it. Price was great, this tablet is faster, has more space, NO COMPLAINTS!! Fit and finish is up to par with my S8+, plays all my favorite games no issues, the A7 lite couldn’t. It just basically works very well. Speakers sound better than what the reviews claim. The face recognition works about 75% of the time. But I have a beard and long hair… My MS Surface gets it everytime…. Not a deal breaker. Anyway, So for a few dollars more you get 100% more storage, 25% more ram, and a better CPU and GPU… Win win in my book!! Fast, nice screen, sounds good, nice build quality… HAPPY

Don’t be suckered by the low price
I’ve been looking for a budget tablet to use flying my drone. I thought this might be the one so I bought it. “International” version is not explained nor is how it affects the set-up process. When it arrived and I turned it on it asked me for the language preference and English-United States was an option. So far so good. Next was Region and the only options were areas of the world from eastern Europe through Africa. There was no way to bypass this so I selected South Africa. Next I tried to set-up my wifi to download my drone app. It refused to connect to my wifi. I kept getting a password incorrect message which is nonsense. I set the router and every device in the house up to that very password and this “international” tablet won’t connect. After a dozen tries I unplugged, repackaged and reboxed the tablet then filed a return. Lesson learned. Notice to Amazon. If you’re going to sell something in the US make sure it works in the US. If you’re going to sell an item made to work in another country but can be made to work here, include instructions on how to make it work.

Works Perfectly in Good Old USA !
Yep, this A9 tablet comes properly sealed,brand new,flawless,with a 15w quick charger. Yep, itâs packaged for Asia, Middle East and Africa- but who gives a dang when all you do is pick English as your language,Fahrenheit instead of Celsius ,as you would be doing anyway, and then pick any country listed ( USA isnât one of the options). I picked South Africa- doesnât matter, the tablet automatically calibrates to your local time and then you just enter your local zip code for your weather forecasts.I got one delivered on 9/1/24 and now that Iâve verified all is good, Iâm now going to order another so as to set up a two station wall mounted tablet monitor system (one for first floor, one for second floor) for a Reolink POE doorbell camera. Worked out the setup with this one A9, and now ordering the second. Android is the way to go for these doorbell systems.

Great inexpensive Tablet
Bought this to replace a Samsung A7 that I use when traveling and don’t want to lug around a 12″ tablet. The A9 is the same size as the A7, but ismuch faster, holds its charge longer and was very easy to set up. The quirk of being an international version just meant selecting South Africa as the region during setup. Time zone, etc. is set by actual location so all works perfectly.

Good for the price
I bought one for my wife.I think A9 is good enough for my wifeâs interest. Good for enjoying Netflix and YouTube video and music and sometimes playing games. I could buy Chinese brand for a lower price, but I chose Samsung because of reliability. AS is also important for me.

Served the purpose, but!
I have two other older tablets. But one of the battery was getting weaker, so I purchased this one to replace that one.I installed geekbench on it, to see its overall speed. It is quite peppy, compared to the older tablets. But not as fast as my $250 android phones. The battery life seems to be better too, than my current tablet.One small problem.For reasons I don’t understand, when I connect this to my computer, it will not show up as a new drive so that I can transfer music or songs to it to play, while traveling on an airplane. The other android tablets and phones, automatically ask me if I want to do that. This one does nothing.I have to cut it off and take out the micro-sd card, transfer my media, then stick it back into tablet.Odd! That is why it is only getting 3 stars.
