The charging port is trash as is the warranty on the phone. Umidigi does not honor the warranty that comes with the phone. Do not buy this phone or you will waste your money. There are other reviewers with a similar problem so it is indeed a problem with this phone. The charging port will break on you.

Lasted about two months
It lasted two months. It restarted a few times or froze randomly when I first set it up. And continued randomly for about two weeks and then I had no problems. I disliked the name of the phone on every photo. I had to crop every photo. Other than than it was a pretty okay phone. It just will no longer charge and it can’t wirelessly charge. The charger it came with lasted about a week. I got a Samsung charge and perhaps that was my mistake. The inside of the charging port came out today. So I’ll have to find a new phone. Gave 3 stars because it’s truly not a bad phone. I was just unlucky. I ordered the orange. It’s like a sherbet color. It’s pretty.

Charging port pins literally fell apart after less than 6months and phone unable to be charged. Only ever used with the provided factory UmiDigi charger. Fingerprint reader stopped working after 3months or so.Contacted & filed a warranty claim, been trying for months with no response or resolution.

All and all fair but get what ya pay for
I was looking for a budget phone with dual sim card slots. It’s great for that but the thing that drives me up a wall is when driving I put my phone in the cup holder and connect to the sync radio for music and the lock screen wakes constantly. I’ve played with all the settings and turn off flip to wake options but nothing helps. It’s very distracting to say the least and I’m sure it shortens the life of the battery usage for the day. Other then that is not bad considering I don’t need all the bells and whistles if a flagship phone.

Crap over quality
The phone is speedy and holds up well on a software level for now. But its hardware is faulty at best, I have bought 4 of these in the past month and the charging ports go out fast, plus several annoying bugs are present on all my models.

This is the fourth UMIDIGI phone that I bought. From A5pro, Power 3, G2 and this brand new G3. Except for G2 (regret buying ), all support FHD+ resolution and working well till this day.It costs less than half the price of Pixel 6a and with comparable feature and performance.It has the option to use app drawer or Samsung-like all apps on home screen. Personally I like app drawer to minimize clutter.Pros:Crisp and beautiful high resolution FHD+ screen, USB-C, vanilla Android 13 without bloat-ware, supports both edge Fingerprint and Face unlock (Pixel 6a only support less than stellar onscreen fingerprint unlock).This phone comes with transparent bumper case and screen protector pre-applied. Additional cost savings!Speed wise it is very snappy and with 8GB ram, running and switching between multiple apps is a breeze.Huge 128GB rom storage and expendable with microSD for plenty of photos and videos space.Love the long lasting battery and with USB-C fast charging, little chance of running out of power.Cons:No NFC, that means no Android tap pay.

Love this phone. Purchased last year and after 6 maths the charging port disappeared into the phone rendering it useless. Gutted, i searched for another phone. I couldn’t find one I preferred and although i read some reviews of other people who had had the same fault on their G3 max I , stupidly, repurchased the same phone. 15 weeks later it’s presenting the same issue where the charger doesn’t securely connect into the charging port. It drops out. This is what happened prior to it disconnecting and becoming useless on the previous G3 max I had.I’ve messaged Umidigi hoping they can help as £180 for a phone that lasts 3 months isn’t good. Hoping they can help somehow. For now I wouldn’t recommend anyone buy this . Great phone though before it breaks…. Update. Contacted umidigi who have sent a replacement within 5 days of being contacted about the broken phone. Any further issues I can contact them. Impressive customer service. Thank you Umidigi. Fingers crossed this one doesn’t havethe fault.

Acquistato da poco, ma ho già avuto modo di apprezzare diverse caratteristiche dell’Umidigi G3 max: la massiva RAM (14 GB) lo rende molto scattante; la batteria di ottima autonomia: nonostante io avessi in precedenza modelli con 6000 mha, quella de G3 ha una durata notevole, con 5150 mha dura largamente quanto i vecchi modelli con 6000, probabilmente per il minor consumo energetico.Abituato a scattare foto con macchine fotografiche con ampi zoom ottici, non sono mai stato entusiasta delle foto da cellulare, ma devo dire che il G3 permette di scattare foto molto nitide anche con livelli di zoom abbastanza forti.Anche il sistema aggiornato ad Android 13 ha alcune novità che semplificano la vita, ed in particolare la migrazione da precedenti telefoni.E il colore arancio può non piacere, ma aiuta molto quando è utile/importante distinguere il proprio cellulare da quelli di altre persone.In definitiva al prezzo proposto qualità e performance sono veramente molto buone.

I have to returned the phone because it stops working every time when Iâm adding my son’s google account. It stucked, rebooted and asked for factory reset (see the photo) because couldn’t find boot record. I tried to do it several times and waste a lot of time. No success. I’m so frustrated, because It should be a present for son’s birthday.
