How to switch s mode to windows 11
1. On your PC running Windows 11 in S mode, open Settings > Update & Security > Activation.
2. In the Switch to Windows 11 Home or Switch to Windows 11 Pro section, select Go to the Store. (If you also see an “Upgrade your edition of Windows” section, be careful not to click the “Go to the Store” link that appears there.)
3. On the Switch out of S mode (or similar) page that appears in the Microsoft Store, select the Get button. After you see a confirmation message on the page, you’ll be able to install apps from outside of the Microsoft Store.

Plenty of ram and ssd drive is fast. Bought it to replace a full size acer that finally died after 10 years

Needed to be sent to ACER for repair
I purchased the 512GB model. Did not work despite multiple resets/reboots. After contacting ACER and going through their difficult support service, the computer had to be sent in for repair. ACER fixed it by removing the 512GB SSD drive, saying it was placed by a 3rd party and not compatible. They sent the computer back with 20GB RAM and 256GB SSD drive, which is working at the moment. Thankfully, everything was under warranty. But do not be surprised if the computer does not work at time of purchase.

I intended to return it when I turned it on for the first time and observed a washed-out display. But the return window had expired, I refrained from turning it on for weeks but then a month later, I turned it on and the hard drive failed. It appears that the suppliers are incorporating inexpensive third-party products that lack compatibility.
