A Decent Holder At A Reasonable Price
Overall I am happy with my purchase. However:You may need to adjust the installation instructions to fit your car’s configuration: the instructions stated to insert the hook portion of the bracket so that the hook was pointing down. This did not work for me; I had to insert the hook so that it was pointing upward.The phone sits securely in the bracket, and with the swivel ball joint, I am able to adjust the position of the phone exactly where I need it to be in my sight-line. And, the bracket/phone sits out, away from the air vent to allow full air flow to the car. So far, going over bumps has not dislodged the phone or the bracket.However, when adjusting the position of the phone, or removing the phone from the bracket, I MUST use two hands, and hold the bracket steady with one hand. Otherwise, the bracket is liable to come tumbling down!Update, 09.24.2024: This holder is proving to be very reliable. I found that I had not completely tightened the hook against the air vent and that is what caused the holder to fall when I was removing my phone. However, it is still best to use two hands when taking your phone out of the holder.

Perfect for Porsche 911 991.1/2
I’ve been looking for a sturdy phone mount for my Porsche 991.2 GTS that wouldn’t obscure the screen of the PCM, and finally found it!The design is very creative… telescoping hook that engages on the backside of the vent blade and prongs that stabilize the vent blade so the hook can solidly attach. I tried several other mounts before I found this one, and it’s the best I’ve come across. Mounting on your vents is a tricky decision… crank in the hook too hard and you can easily snap one of the vent blades and that’s unfortunately not an easy fix. This mount creatively uses the prongs and the hook as a compression fit and I’m not longer worried about the vent blades snapping.It is quite sturdy, and while is also has a very common “compression ball” fitting to orient the phone that in other products has led to movement of the phone over heavy bumps, so far this one is rock solid. This mount is also positioned high enough that barely any of my PCM screen is obscured.Very happy!

Absolutely solid
Been using this daily for almost a year now, and it’s still holding up well for getting bounced around constantly.Clamping function is very good, just don’t squeeze it super hard or over clamp it. This can make it hard to release the mechanism.The attachment point is solid, and easy to understand, but it can be finicky if the vent is an odd shape or just has really thin fins.The tilting part of the mount is where most of the wear is showing on mine, just had to tighten the ring holding the ball joint in slightly.Overall it’s a good solid mount for the price.

Almost Perfect
This is a good quality phone mount that clips onto your vent well. It protrudes your phone far enough so that there’s minimal air outflow affecting it. Other benefits due to this is that the phone isn’t overly exposed to sunlight which can cause long-term damage, and you’re able to have a better view of the screen since it’s closer to you. It’s sturdy and I’ve never had to once worry about the phone falling off.There are two flaws to this mount however. The first is that the arms holding your phone in place aren’t snappy. When you click on the release button, you have to press it down long enough for the arms to fully release. This is an inconvenience if you drive often. Second, the phone mount will rattle if you’re driving without a phone mounted. These are clearly the result of poor design decisions.With everything said, I recommend this phone mount. Hopefully the company makes improvements in future iterations.

I canât tell you how thrilled I am with this phone holder! I installed it and got so excited with how well it worked that I just had to write a review the same day. I have gone through so many of them and theyâve all been flimsy, do not stay in position, get loose, or donât hold the phone on the bracket too well. This one does not have any of those problems. It was super easy to attach an under a minute, and it is so sturdy. My phone sits in the holder very securely. I was also able to install it to where I still get some air flow from the vent. It is easy to reposition the angle of view point, but yet it will stay in place where you put it. I cannot attest to the longevity of this item yet, but it seems very well-made.

I bought this as a replacement for another awkward brand that I bought and returned within a few minutes that it was delivered by Amazon. I particularly love the ease of installation, operation and the hook that helps in securing it firmly in the A/C vents. It is easy to attach and remove your phone without hassle. You will not experience difficulty if you need your phone plugged while it is in the harness. I recommend this product

Sticks out too much
I got this product because I liked the fact that it has a hook in the back to help secure the holder when thereâs a bump on the road. Thatâs literally the main reason why I got it because I have another one that constantly slips off.Downside is that it sticks out too much to the point where it gets in the way when I use my turn signals or windshield wipers.So if you own a 2018 Chevy Cruze or the like, I donât recommend lol

What a great product! It’s reasonably priced, high quality, and easy to assemble. I keep my phone in it even when I’m not following directions, that way it never gets lost. The only thing I had a problem with was howto release the arms. The directions didn’t say anything about this. Then I watched a YouTube video and it said there’s a button in back that you push to release the arms.

J’ai équipé une 3ème voiture avec ce support donc j’en suis très satisfaite. Simple d’installation. Très stable et facile d’utilisation. Il y a une pince et une tige qui vient se fixer derrière la grille : elle empêche la pince de glisser. Il y a plus ou moins de vibrations en fonction du support sur lequel on le fixe (grille fixe ou mobile) et l’état de la route mais c’est tout à fait acceptable pour l’utilisation du gps en plein écran. Il faut de temps en temps resserrer la base : on l’entend au bruit car cela fait des petites vibrations quand il commence à y avoir du jeu .
