This unit finds use in a wide variety of situations, from home theater setups to server and computer network cabinets, to music and DJ equipment racks, and audio-video (AV) subracks.
The two high volume cabinet fans pump out 225 CFM of air through a top exhaust, providing a healthy flow stream to keep your setup cool.
The server cooler system is controlled by an easy to use, user-friendly programmable controller set through an LCD display screen, which is used to monitor the temperature of the system through a probe attached to the fan cabinet, telling the fan when to turn on.
Automatic adjustments are then made accordingly to keep the airflow of the rackmount optimal. This keeps your valuable equipment operating at the temperature range of peak performance and is a safety check against overheating.
This versatile rack cooling fan system can mount to any 19” standard cabinet, making it useful in many different applications.
The rack fans are best positioned near the top of your rack or near the device that tends to overheat, pumping the hot air away from the equipment.
The 3 powerful and quiet fans are encased in a sturdy aluminum enclosure and are finished in a sleek black design. The quiet build of the cooler coupled with the high-performance fans that pump out 225 cubic feet per minute make the fans a steal on any budget.
To set the minimum temperature at which the thermostat tells the fans to turn on, press the “S” button on the display for 3 seconds. At this point, the display should show “F1”. Then, press the “S” button again to adjust the displayed temperature with the up/down arrows by the display while holding the “S” button.
This is the set Fahrenheit temperature for the system. Press the power button to lock the temperature.

Product makes rack hotter.
The inside of my server has been running at 79 degrees. I finally figured out how to get the fans to turn on. Now that they are on the inside of my server is running at 84 degrees. This thing is so hard to program and literally doesn’t cool anything; it makes it all hotter.

works as described, high quality, LCD screen and temp control are easy to use
heat is an issue in any server rack. installing this was a no-brainer, clip it in, plug it in, and turn it on. the LCD is very bright and easy to understand. I didn’t read the directions and was able to set the temperatures and speed settings.

Does not worth the money
the build quality is fair, the unit DOES NOT USE 5W as advertised when I measured it it was pulling 40W, and that high for something that’s going to be on 80% of the time, the air flow is not that great, I purchased a 6″ fan and conected it with a AC infinity temperature controller and got much better air flow, with a combined wattage of 8W. DO NOT RECCOMMEND, I have it in the Rack as a space saver not powered on, I don’t use it

Works like a charm, but they mad it wrong and it didn’t fit into a server rack 1 slot without removing the top screws and top door. Poor quality!

very noisy and poor performance after 3 weeks.
item started to make extremely noisy sounds within 4 weeks of purchase, and it is extremely noisy.

Rack fan is awesome!…..Amazon not so much
I love this fan. Easy to install and program. It is a little bit loud but works really well. I would have given 5 stars, but Amazon sent me an obvious return from someone else. They obviously did not check the return from another customer before sending it to me. One of the mounting brackets on the side was bent and the hardware bag was ripped open and empty. Luckily I am pretty handy and bent the mounting bracket back to being fairly straight and used different screws that I had to mount the fan. I wasn’t about to bother returning it. Overall, I would recommend this unit.
