I’m so glad I purchased this laptop. The speed is browsing and word processing. It is lightweight and compact, which makes it very portable. The overall quality is excellent for such a low price.

Inaccurate Product Description – Not a Solid State Hard Drive
Computer Specs: Two things didn’t match up, the processor claims 2.4 GHz and is shown as 2.3 GHz in the system information on the device, not a big deal. The hard drive is listed as a 512 GB Solid State Drive (SSD), which is why I chose this refurb over others, FALSE . . . this is a 500 GB Hybrid HDD with 32 Mb of buffer. This is not the same as an SSD and it should not be advertised as such.Packaging was good: Undamaged box, nice bubble sleeve that protected the computer well.Condition: Okay – cosmetic damage to two corners, missing cover plates on external ports, stickers on all the keyboard keys that look okay at a glance but weren’t centered (can feel the edges when typing and I’m sure they’ll lift over time).Accessories: Genuine Dell power supply, that was nice to see.Conclusion: Still a decent deal with the 20% off coupon we got (not currently being offered), but I will be sending it back and getting a similar Dell with a true Solid State Drive that is half the size for the improved performance.

This laptop does not have a touchscreen. I didn’t notice this when I purchased it. (My bad).The laptop works fine, for one five (5) years old. (something that would have been nice to know. Biggest issue is the battery. PC health check shows it as having only 69% of capacity. Though a renewed unit was to have at least 80%?

Misleading product description
They claim it has an SSD. it does not. It has a 500gb 7200rpm SATA hard drive.I had an extra 240gb SATA SSD that I put in to it and maxed the RAM out at 32gb and now it’s a pretty snappy little laptop.

Worked well for about 3 weeks.
My own fault for buying “renewed.” Never again. Terrible purchase. Will be returning once I can figure out how to clean the hard drive since it won’t through Windows as it is supposed to.
