Worth it
For the price, I am impressed with the overall functionality of this tablet. Like any new device it does take time to set up and become familiar with it. I bought this for my 3 year son. I love the kid profile that limits what he can do. The battery life is good. Obviously he isn’t on it all day but I only need to charge it once a day. And to be honest he has thrown it once and it survived so it is durable.

Update: 9/17/24 -This tablet no longer charges. We have tried different chargers just to make sure there wasn’t a problem with the original charger. Unfortunately, none of the chargers work, so this turned out to be a waste of money, and I can’t return it at this point because the return window closed. I purchased this item several months ago and it didn’t even last 6 months…so disappointed!My nephew loves HIS new toy. He knows it is his and takes it wherever he goes. Of course, the parents and I love it because we don’t have to worry about him using or dropping our devices. It’s sturdy for those little hands even when dropped.

Decent Entry-Level Android Tablet
This is a simple tablet intended for children up to age 14, so it is not top of the line in response, the worse I find is the volume is set really low, reminds me of tinny speaker, not stereo at all. However, parents may find this a hidden blessing to volume limit of what their children may be playing, suffice it to say it won’t be keeping anyone up, nor causing problems from another room if the parent is in a zoom meeting working at home. The only issue I have with the operating system is I found Google insisting on creating an account to even browse on Chrome, making up a fake message about an Update, that after I input an google account, just didn’t exist. The system comes as an Android 10 and there are no updates, and the tablet may be made to not update in order to keep the kids software built on it from not working from any subsequent incompatible android updates.My intentions was to give this to an elderly family member who has the idea they can use a tablet just like a computer, expecting a different experience than their android smart phone, which really won’t happen except the screen is double the size. So I made use of the manufacturer’s directions to set the tablet to never be restricted, and to also allow and disallow different apps, so that I disallowed the obvious apps for toddlers my relative didn’t want, and allowed normal android apps. I also paired it with a remote keyboard. It’s pairing ability was not very consistent however, and it took having to redo 3 or 4 times so I am not expecting my relative to make use of a remote keyboard as they won’t be able to remember how to keep re-pairing bluetooth.I replaced the Chrome with all of its roadblocks, with Dolphin so my elderly family member can now browse the internet as they had hoped and not have to create a google account they simply will not be able to keep up to verify or jump through additional hoops as google gave me, first asking me to verify by email, and when I did, google added a new condition to that by phone, and no elderly person in my house could follow through with such resetting of the rules and extra demands just to browse on a low-entry android! Fortunately there exists apps that once downloaded from playstore, will work independent of any google account, and what I did, so that now this little tablet starts up with a nice seascape wallpaper that transform it from kids tablet to regular, and will spend most of its existence outside of its blue protective silicon case so that it appeals to an adult as a normal white tablet.Even the sound were twice the volume, I would give it 5 stars for what it is, as the rest of the issues fall on the issues of android and google, having nothing to do with the tablet itself.
