This is gonna be long. I’m so hurt.I purchased this computer in August 29th. About a month or 2 it stopped charging all the way so I waited to get enough money to buy a new charger. Again it would not charge my daughter had a paper due so I ran and got a new battery. Again would not keep a charge. So I thought maybe I need a better charger because although it wouldn’t keep charge It would charge faster. So finally I got the best charger possible. Now we had to leave it 24 thru 48 hours just to get it to turn on. It was crazy.I dont know much about computers and they bank on that. So finally i called and said listen this thing don’t work no one spends their money for a notebook to last 6 months .I’m not expecting it to last years but come on 6 months. So their attitude was oh well too bad should’ve sent it back when you first had the problem. Didn’t offer to look at it, or see if it can be fixed even if they wasnted charge me to fix it I wouldn’t mind. NOTHING. Basically buyer be ware. We got your money and oh well. I took it to a repair shop because my daughter have her finals he opened it up and asked me how long did I have the computer. I said 6 months I bought it refurbished. He said well its his opinion this is not refurbished. He started using terms I really didn’t understand but basically refurbished is fixed to factory something. I asked if it was the charger port he said no its the fan. It needed to be replaced but it looks like it may have been cleaned and lubricated, it will work for a while but it’s gonna stop again. He said it looks like cleaned and lubricated it. Idk again I’m not a computer person. I said well they gave me a warranty. He said yes he have seen these 2nd hand computer shop do things like this. thats how that particular scam works. they get it work for a while like and I quote “putting a bandaid on a stab womb” it’s to hold it until you get to the hospital. They wanted it to work long enough for their “waranty”. To end So they can say its past the warranty. This was his experience with other companies and he sees it more and more on sites like amazon ebay This looks like they sold you a defective product on purpose because anyone who works with computers know that the fan would have to be replaced. If they replaces the fan he would love to see with what because that looks like the original fan. Then he told me getting a fan is gonna be almost impossible but he will do like they appear to have done clean it and add some lubricant. So Ibasically I wasted my money. The warranty is why I purchased from them thinking they stand behind their work. Mind you I had the issues within the warranty. I just thought it was the charger and didn’t want to bother the company for something so minor.If you purchase anything and I don’t care if a feather landed and the key got stuck DONT TRUST IT SEND IT BACK. Anything minor happens send it back.Then amazon said if they didn’t refund me Amazon would. NOW I DONT EVEN WANT A REFUND I just need a working computer. Well when I called back they changed their mind and refused to send me to the department that promised me the refund. So I lost what $260 but amazon will loose my monthly food purchase about $400- $900 i have my balloon business and 3 parties father day, juneteenth bbq, and graduation. All booked so I will be going to shien, temu, ebay and Walmart. Not to mention 4 graduation bouquets, 2 thank you balloon bouquets. I will go someplace else. It’s all good. I’m a woman of my word I expect honesty from anyone I do business with. So imma have it working for now then go buy her a brand new computer from anywhere but here. At least she can get her final work done. BUYER BE WARE DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!! This is a huge company, amazon is a huge company they won’t miss my tiny business anyway. I just can’t do business with slicknesd.
