A solid case with a few small issues
I have found this case to be a predominantly good case, with a few small issues that keep it from being great. First – it looks quite nice, with quality materials. In the hand, it’s not a thin case, but the edges actually slightly taper to the back, which makes the phone surprisingly comfortable to hold – among the most comfortable of all the case I own. The main buttons work reasonably well, with some clicky tactile feedback. Protection seems to be quite good.Now the small issues:1) The camera control button does work, and it feels nice to press, but swiping takes significantly more deliberate movement than it does on the bare phone button, or on other cases like the Apple Silicone. As such it can be difficult to make small fine movements swiping on the camera control.2) The magnet is EXCEPTIONALLY strong. Some may view this as a good thing if you’re using magsafe as a car mount or something, but for me it causes some issues. The magnet is at least twice as strong as any other magsafe case I own, and I find it pulls the puck out of my magsafe docks because I can’t break the connection consistently while docked. As I use a magsafe dock at night for a bedside clock, it’s really frustrating to wake up in the morning, go to pull the phone off the stand, and have it just rip the puck out of the stand.These aside, it’s a quality case.

One thing that sold me on this case was the vertical stand… although reading a lot of reviews I was concerned that it wasn’t strong enough, or that it would be pulled by the magnet on the recharging stand that I have… all not true. This case and stand work perfectly. It’s got good support and I find myself putting my fingers through the ring as I carry it to feel more secure. Very happy with the purchase.
