Awesome little econo computer
I bought this for my S.O. randomly. No “need” for it other than her laptop being replaced (Dell 1545) has withstood the test of time for the past 13-14 years, so it was time to move on. I was able to get this HP 15-DY1024wm for a steal of a price and it was worth every penny. Great little i3 dual core, 4 thread, processor, with some integrated Intel graphics will be more than enough for internet browsing, video streaming and office applications. HDMI output for connection to an external monitor or TV. a few USB ports for external storage if needed. That platform itself allows for upgrades as you may need them. The 4 gigs of DDR4 2666 memory is a little disappointing but I added another 4 gig module in the second available slot for a total of 8 gigs and to allow for dual channel RAM to operate as it should. That alone helped speed things up considerably and the cost was only about $20. (RAM model in mine was Samsung 4GB DDR4 PC4-21300, 2666MHZ, 260 PIN SODIMM, 1.2V, CL 19, MODEL: M471A5244CB0-CTD) RAM, M.2 hard drive, and really, even the CPU are all able to be upgraded should you find this little guy not meeting your needs. However, the integrated Intel graphics will be the ultimate bottleneck for any graphic intensive application. The 128gig M.2 is small for any modern computer. My personal opinion is that any modern day computer should at a minimum be furnished with 256gig hard drive/SSD. The M.2 drive itself does not support NVMe, so if you’re looking to upgrade internal storage, make sure you get a SATA M.2 compatible SSD. You probably won’t witness any noticeable, real world delays unless you’re trying to process large files over a long duration of time. If that were the case, you wouldn’t be buying a budget laptop though and you’d like spring for something with a bit more high end tech inside of it.Regardless, for the price paid, I look forward to this little guy providing years of use for us.

Good laptop for price
I’m really happy with this product even I have suffered one week for the junk named “S Mode” which made my life a hell.Pros: very fast with a new version on Win 10, a compressed version which made ir very very fast. Good sound, mid level web cam as expected, is sleem, light and battery average duration is 5.30 – 6 hours depending of the usage.Cons: the S Mode is really junk because you will never be able to install your prefered or work apps. Its deactivation in Microsoft Store is not working since years. It’s a shame that Microsoft let trapped a lot of persons in this stage. The Microsoft Community forum is a nice place with kind persons but no one of their suggestions worked so I had to do a format and install this compressed version (faster) of Win 10 and now it is really a pleasure to work with it.It’s a must, buy it and erase that junk, install a new Pro copy.Update Oct 10th:I did the last possible upgrade replacing the fabric Lite-On SSD M2 128 Gb disk with an Western Digital Blue M2 2280 500 Gb one. Now, with 12 GB RAM and a 500 Gb M2 SSD it flies. The Win 10 Pro Mini-OS is starting the system in 12 seconds. Not bad, right?

Good but research product
I really shopped around and thought I got a good product. It works well and I’m familiar with the programming. The texture of the laptop is smooth but the edges are sharp please be careful.

Perfect for what I need
I spent weeks trying to decided what computer to buy. I am going back to school (even though I am old enough to be the crypt keeper) and I just needed something simple. I know next to nothing about computers so I asked all my co-workers their favorite brand. We use mostly HP’s at my job. I saw this one was reasonably priced so I figured why not just buy it. It isn’t very big, but it is perfect for me. I love that it isn’t too heavy and it fits perfectly in my backpack with my work laptop. This is what my life has become…carrying two laptops and taking my old butt back to school. I also have to say the touch pad isn’t too delicate, it required some pressure to click it. For myself it is great and I feel it was a great purchase!

Laptop Hp 15.6 color Silveria
I arrive super well packed, I arrive intact. The only little problem is that the first days I was using it, suddenly the screen was distorted every time I moved the cursor, I don’t know what was happening to it … I hit Restart and it went back to work, so far July 21th has not happened to me again.
