Good for what it is.
I cam across this Surface Pro. The price was super cheap so I bought it. I mainly use my very fast desktop computer for most things. Really the only use I have for the unit is to play YouTube videos. So just now, after giving it a few more seconds of thought, I paid a lot of money for something that is pretty much powerful enough to play YouTube videos. I’m sure I could work on Microsoft’s Office 360 or google docs via a web browser. I use my desktop for most things, including document creation such as writing documents and spreadsheet, as it’s just easer to use a real key board.So the screen quality is not bad and is what you would expect from a older machine.The battery life is abysmal. I keep it plugged in all the time. I use it in the kitchen while I’m cooking.The touch screen is fine.So the choice is yours, buy a first generation refurbished and deal with the speed of old technology or don’t.

I originally bought a Surface Pro 9 with some gift cards. I had a pro 8 that I dropped and loved it, they make perfect sitting on the couch and study tools. I was going to share this Pro9 with my daughter so she could learn animation. Once it arrived, I decided I could not share, so I purchased this Pro7 for her to fool around with. This tablet is every bit as good as my Pro9 for what we use it for, I like to program for fun and she likes to animate. I wish I had just purchased two of these and saved myself some money. My Pro8 keyboard works on this Pro7 which saved me another $100 bucks. Super happy with this purchase. If I buy again, I will buy a refurbished older model. the i5 is every bit as fast as the i7 for our use.

Didn’t work
Since the day we received it in the mail, it would blue screen several times a day. Didn’t even have it for an hour before it crashed for the first time. We didn’t install anything or use it for anything except writing emails, reading ebooks, and watching shows. It was slow, but pretty and would’ve really loved it if it worked as intended. We got it on sale for about $100 less than what it’s running now and there isn’t an option to replace it, just refund. Overall not happy.

I had a surface pro at work and since retiring, I missed it. I liked the surface pro much better than my laptop. So I bought this surface pro and the condition was listed as âUsed -Excellentâ. It arrived and it is just like brand new.

Windows 10 install was incomplete
I also had issues with Windows 10 pro. Was not able to open settings, task manager, etc. Spent an hour troubleshooting and updating and was finally able to get it working.

“Aucun défaut visible à moins de 30cm”… Quand on ouvre le paquet, on constate de très légères traces d’usure mais rien de rédhibitoire. Les problèmes commencent quand on allume l’écran, plusieurs impacts, des pixels morts et ça c’est visible à bien plus de 30cm (plus de 2m) ! Le tactile reste fonctionnel, bonne nouvelle. Dans l’ensemble, la surface n’est pas en mauvais état mais elle n’est pas en excellent état comme le suggérait la description. Ou nous n’avons visiblement pas la même notion d’excellence. Comment doivent être les modèles vendus en moins bon état on se le demande…

Kurz gesagt ich wollte ein “Tablet” das Windowsfähig ist.Hier war das Gebrauchte Surface Pro5 eine gute Wahl, das Surface läuft problemlos und tut was es soll.Nun das Aber weshalb es nur 4 Sterne gibt.Die Rückseite des Surface weiÃt einige Kratzer auf, eine Ecke hat auch eine kleine “Schrame”, der Bildschirm hat in Kameranähe einen kleinen Kratzer.Der Begriff “Hervoragend Instandgesetzt” ist da bei mir etwas Gespalten.Es stört mich aber Wenig da es eine Hülle und eine Schutzfolie bekommt und man dann nix mehr von den kleinen Macken sieht.Wer hier für kleines Geld ein Surface möchte und es in eine Hülle steckt, hat hier ein gutes Angebot.
