Fits perfectly!
Bonus- when open helps me shield the bright screen from my sleeping husband when Iâm reading in bed at night. In addition, the side fold props open to hold the tablet up securely when I am laying on my side to read in bed. The quality is good, and it fits well. Regarding appearance, it has a good texture to prevent scratches and lint collection. I have a similar case for a kindle paperwhite in blue, and I purchased this case in black. Both colors are great!

Pefect case
I bought this case for my new Kindle Fire 10 tablet. I purchased the beautiful lilac color to match my Kindle. It is a very well made case. It is excellent protection for my new tablet. For the price i paid it better last a very long time. I already had a case like this but it would not fit my new tablet.

Expensive for what it is… But worth it (to me)…
Good quality and durable. I think it’s expensive for what it is, but it does make the tablet easier to hold (more secure, less slippery) and enhances the functionality (on/off by opening/closing the magnetic cover, and by folding the cover back it acts as a book stand horizontally OR vertically), and it adds a bit of protection – covering the screen when not in use. So, for me, it’s money well spent and I would recommend it to others.COMPARING THE COVERS: I purchased the less expensive soft leather-like cover that’s NOT magnetized for one of my Kindle’s. It’s OKAY and SERVES ITS PURPOSE as a protective cover very nicely. What I don’t care for: It only has a horizontal book stand so it doesn’t work vertically – it’s great for most games (if that’s what you’ll use it for), but NOT for hands-free reading if you prefer reading a book in the vertical position (like a hard cover book). It doesn’t have the magnetic closure On/Off feature which I found I REALLY prefer having. If you use your Kindle a lot, like me, I highly recommend spending the extra money for the magnetic cover. Also… Over the years I’ve occasionally dropped my Kindle(s) off the sofa or an end table and both covers protected them from breaking – so I think having a cover is essential.

Happy that I bought this
A very nice and practical cover for my Amazon Fire 10 inch table. Now I can stand it up on the coffee table and read, etc.
BLKREADER –
Good case
It snapped on easily. Is very secure and it feel very durable. It also was the only real option for a case because the others didn’t protect the screen.

This case is exactly what I expected. The size and color matched the description and it slips onto the tablet easily. It is easy to clean and stands up perfectly when using it to stream video or read.

I was really torn about buying this because of the price. During Black Friday week it’s been half the price of my brand new Fire HD 10. Half the price. Of the actual tablet. However, due in part I suspect to the tablet only being launched last month, I wasn’t happy with any of the limited third party offerings. The only custom made one appeared to have a very visible, thick, clear plastic case around the outside. The more generic ones rely on various arrangements of elastic and velcro-closing sleeves. Ugly. I know the Fire HD 10 isn’t a premium tablet, but I still think it’s a very good looking one and it would’ve annoyed me literally daily that I’d had to make it look rubbish in order to protect it.So I took out my credit card (again) and took the plunge. And am I happy with it? Yes. The hard case that covers the back and edges is very well fitted, very thin and I don’t notice it at all during use. It’s obviously got cutaways for buttons, sockets and rear camera, but also above the speaker ports so that sound isn’t muffled or impeded. The rest of the case seems fine too. I quite like the finish on the outside, although my daughter disagrees. It has a magnetic closure that wakes the tablet when you open it. And the magnetism also gets involved when you have the cover fully open – it sticks to the rear of the case so you don’t have the cover flapping around loose while you use it.The stand is adequate. Does its job on a desk at home although I’d be a bit nervous about how it might fare on a train, particularly in the UK. Should stress that I’ve not had the opportunity to test on a moving surface yet though.Would I trust it to protect against drops? Probably not. It’s almost certainly better than no case, but my instinct would be that one of the aforementioned ugly, poor fitting, velcro close sleeves would provide a bit more cushioning. If drop protection is a major consideration for you, maybe look elsewhere.Worth adding that there’s no screen protector etc included. I hadn’t expected one and there’s no indication anywhere in the description that you will get one, but thought it worth putting in black and white! So… Am I still slightly bitter about spending 40 quid to protect an (at time of purchase) 85 quid tablet? Yes. Yes I am. Would I still recommend this ahead of an ugly, ill fitting third party case at less than half the price? Yes I would. Drop protection is limited and I worry about the stand on a moving train, but neither of those are real worries for me, so it’s a 5 star product – but I do hope the pricing comes down dramatically!

This was a Christmas present for my daughter, along with the Kindle Fire. She is very happy with it.
