AMD: Not showing up or booting? I UPDATED BIOS duuh
I got really excited when I saw this ram, I love the styling and the color. It’s a metal material on the outside that matches my future white/silver/steel build. I got it delivered same day (ordered at like 2 am haha). Looks great and feels good. Wish it had rgb but whatever, great price.I am running AMD on an msi x470 game plus motherboard and I DID RUN INTO THE ISSUE OF IT NOT WORKING INITIALLY! I TRIED RESETTING CMOS AND CHANGING THE BIOS SETTINGS BUT NO DICE :'( I didn’t see xmp as an option either. I found the fix. I realized my bios hadn’t ever been updated when I went to check on the specs on the manufacturers website. Found an old usb drive and downloaded latest bios. Installed it and BAM! worked just fine but it does look different obviously. I turned on overclock setting, set speed to 3200 and everything looks good. PC reads 32 gb @ 3200mhz! I was ready to write a scathing review and reach out to the company. That woulda been embarassiiing 😀

The product is as described. It is recognized by Intel Motherboards and some AMD motherboards but sadly I lost this purchase since my AMD motherboard gigabyte a520m – s2h did not recognize. No BIOS no signal to monitor. Had to buy another RAM and try to sell this.

Got this for a new PC build because I liked the look, has identical specs to some other ram I was looking at but I preferred the look of this ram. Well it took me a while to slowly get the parts and by the time they all came this RAM was out of the return window. THAT WAS A MISTAKE!I was having issues with the first boot on my PC and went through all the troubleshooting steps. None of it worked until I swapped out the ram for another set from my second computer. Then it worked fine.I still wanted the sleek look from this ram though so I tried to get in contact with fanxiang but they have no way to contact them. So really it’s just a scam where they send you defective ram and leave you stranded.ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE DO NOT GET, SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Decent low budget RAM
I threw these in a backup computer I have and so far they have been performing well. I didn’t put them in my gaming machine as I already had 64gb RAM in there and I don’t crossfit RAM in my machine. But, in my backup machine, these are holding up well with no performance issues.

Bewertung in Verbindung mit anderen Bauteilen:Im nächsten Jahr geht MS Windows 10 aus der Wartung. Mein Rechner zur Ausfallsicherung ca. 14 Jahre alt, aber noch rüstig ist leider nicht MS Windows 11 fähig. Aber ein neuer Rechner lohnt hier nicht. Was tun? Hier kommt der Vorschlag aus dem cât-Magazin 22 aus 2024 gerade Recht. Ein preiswertes, aber dennoch leistungsfähiges System mit Windows 11 Berechtigung (auch durch das vorhandene Windows 10 Pro ursprünglich Windows 7 Pro), das auf dem alten Rechner lief.Neuteile:Motherboard MSI PRO H610M-E DDR4 (im Vorschlag ein ASROCK, das war aber in diesem Jahr nicht mehr lieferbar).Prozessor Intel Core i3-12100F (sollte eigentlich mit Grafikeinheit sein, aber eine ASUS GEFORCE GT730 war vorhanden).Arbeitsspeicher fanxiang DDR4-3200 RAM 16 GB (2×8 GB) Kit, Empfehlung war Mushkin. Fanxiang aber sofort lieferbar. Sehr wertig verpackt und mit Kühlblechen versehen.SSD fanxiang NVMe M.2 SSD 512 GB, PCIe 3, sollte eine Kinoxia sein. Zusätzlich eine GRAUGEAR USB-C/3 Frontpanele, Das Gehäuse ist ja 14 Jahre alt also keine USB 3 Anschlüsse.Das Minitowergehäuse ausgeräumt und gereinigt und dann zuerst das Motherboard bestückt und vorsichtig eingepasst. Formfaktor war ok.Die Anschlüsse des alten Netzteils passten bis auf den separaten Stecker für die Prozessorversorgung. Aber bei einem i3 reichen auch 4 statt 8 Kontakte. Musste ich auch erst nachschlagen.Mit dem ct WImage-Programm die alte Installation zurückgespielt. Noch beim zweiten Kontrollstart wurde von MS ein Upgrade auf Windows 11 angeboten, was auch problemlos zu installieren war. Die Aktivierung erfolgte über das Microsoft-Konto. Wichtig ist, vorher zu prüfen, ob die Installation dort als aktiviert registriert ist!Resümee:Die Lieferung der Teile war kurzfristig und gut erfolgt. Auch weil ich nicht zwingend bei der Empfehlung geblieben bin, waren die Umbaukomponenten nach wenigen Tagen komplett. Verfügbarkeit und Amazon Kundenbewertung spielten eine wesentliche Rolle bei der Auswahl. Die Komponenten harmonieren (so weit jetzt zu beurteilen) sehr gut miteinander. Der Rechner läuft sehr performant und wird jetzt sicher die eine oder andere Aufgabe mit übernehmen können.
