—UPDATE— 03/30/2023—- Soooo… It has been quite a while now and this thing it is holding strong. Very very happy with it. I also started to use their Magnetic Mount version and I like that one even more than this one. Its the exact same, just a different style of mounting the phone to the holder. This suction cup has not moved NOT ONCE and I added the included magnet to my cell phone case and its literally super strong. Not even the bumpy road or going over tracks knocks it off the magnet. So definitely give that one a try too. Over all I have to rate this a 5 STAR based on quality alone. However this company’s customer service truly deserves an additional ratting for their willingness to make things right and their patience. Kudos to VANMASS!!!! I wish other amazon companies would follow in their example.—UPDATE— 10/12/2022—- I was contacted by the company after they read my review. They apologized for the inconvenience and offered me the option of a full refund or an upgraded replacement. I was totally NOT expecting this from an Amazon Seller because it is a very impersonal transaction. However the email was very professional, personal and kind. As soon as the product arrives I will change the review to 5 star, because as I said before, this product is the best I have ever use, it just happened to fall aprt randomly. Probably a fluke. My return period had already passed and they did not need to do this at all but THEY DID and for me that is AMAZING!!!!!——————-This WAS officially the best suction cup mount I had ever used until it just randomly fell apart. I still do not understand how this happened. Especially considering that I did not ever need to adjust the device since the after the very first time I mounted it. That is a testament to how good this product is. It literally stayed in the exact same position and was very secure. So I am assuming this must be my luck here and I just happened to catch a defective unit. However, Since I could not find a way to contact the seller, I feel compelled to leave this review here to let others know about this possibility. —–PLEASE NOTE—- I completely LOVE this product and I believe this is just a one off situation. So even though I have to give it a low star rating, I do honestly recommend that you confidently purchase & try this product. Just make sure you inspect the locking mechanism that secures your phone to the ball head, before you mount it for the first time and before your return period expires, or you will be screwed like me.
