Great Little Mini PC for Everyday Use
There are so many things to like about the Beelink Mini S12 Mini PC. Granted, you do not want to buy the Beelink Mini S12 Mini PC if you expect to do serious gaming or media creation and editing on it. But for the ordinary computing tasks that dominate our daily lives, like web browsing, email, social media, personal word processing, personal budgeting using dedicated applications or spreadsheets, watching Youtube videos, photo editing, home theatre control, etc., the Beelink Mini S12 Mini PC gets the job done without breaking a sweat and without sending the cooling fan spinning into a frenzy. In fact, I have never heard the cooling fan spinning at all. It has been totally silent.This is my second Beelink Mini PC. My positive experience with my other Beelink Mini PC with a higher performance AMD processor provided me with confidence that the Beelink Mini S12 Mini PC with a modern Intel processor would also live up to my expectations. So far, it has exceeded my expectations even though its performance specs are far from overwhelming compared to some of the higher end processors available today.I cannot help but think that there are so many home and small business PC users trudging along with old behemoth desktop and tower PCs that the Beelink Mini S12 Mini PC easily surpasses not only in performance but in terms of putting far less demands on desk space, office space, power, and cooling.The Beelink Mini S12 Mini PC and its siblings allow ordinary computer users to take advantage of all of the advances in computer performance, power efficiency, reliability, memory capacity, storage performance and miniaturization that have occurred over the past few years. The fact that all of these benefits are available at very affordable prices, with the Beelink Mini S12 Mini PC having a price-vs-performance ratio that was unheard on a few years ago, makes it a very compelling purchase for so many. Having Windows 11 Pro preinstalled only improves the bang for the buck, especially if you want to use Microsoft Remote Desktop server which is only available on the Pro version of Windows.Would I have liked to see extras like Thunderbolt 4. DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, some high performance cores, a higher end GPU, and more USB-C ports on the Beelink Mini S12 Mini PC? Of course I would, but at this point in time and with the cost of the higher end technology, these extras cannot be expected at the Beelink Mini S12 Mini PC’s price point. Not even close. But for those who need all of those things, Beelink offers several other Mini PC models that deliver all of those enhancements, along with a higher price tag.So far, the Beelink Mini S12 Mini PC more than lives up to what I expected at its very affordable price. Very happy and with no complaints.

Works great, but too big!
Works great, good specs, good price, autoboots on power restore, but very thick compared to other manufacturers. The box seems to be very empty. So, is it because of heating? Why such a big empty box?Also, the one that I received, had 4 screws in the box and nothing to screw to the computer! There are 2 screw holes on the computer. So, apparently, something should be screwed to the computer with 2 screws and then screwed to the monitor with another 2 screws. That “thing” is missing!

No USB
DO NOT BUY this thing!!! From day one the mouse and keyboard don’t work. No response at all. Therefore, I can’t get past the boot screen. I was going to return it, but things came up and now it’s too late. It’s going in the trash. It turns on and the screen comes up to select which language, but with no mouse or keyboard I can’t select anything, so it just sits there. What a waste of money, time, and effort!! I have no idea how it got 4.5 stars, but I would give it a negative number if I could. I would give it away to someone, but I’m not that mean. Plus, there’s a measure of pleasure throwing it in the trash. Don’t buy it!!!
