OverviewA quiet cooling fan system designed to be placed on top of AV components such as receivers, routers, game consoles, and AV cabinet components. Maintaining an optimal temperature for components prevents overheating, ensures constant performance, and extends their lifespan. The controller on the front of the cooling system features a smart thermostat trigger and fan speed control. The steel enclosure houses two dual-ball bearing blowers that pull heat out of the component and exhaust out the rear. The dual ball bearings also allow this fan system to be mounted horizontally or vertically. Its low-profile design enables the unit to fit in tight spaces. Includes corded power adapter to plug the fan system through an outlet.Intelligent ProgrammingThere are three programming settings available which includes two temperature trigger modes. The fans can also be set to run continuously or be turned off. Four fan speeds are available for each active mode and will determine the speed at which the fans run when they are triggered. This ensures optimal airflow and noise levels for your application.Design and ConstructionEach system features dual-ball bearing fans rated at 67,000 hours and are certified by CE and RoHS. Fans contain a PWM-controlled motor used to minimize noise during speed variations and are suspended in mid-air with silicone mounts to absorb vibrations. A low-profile design allows the unit to fit in applications with a limited height clearance. Aluminum and steel construction enables additional components up to 10 pounds to be stacked on top.

    Great investment 👌
Mabe the 2nd best decision I made in 2024. My Denon gets hot. It’s in a open stand. But it still gets very 🔥. I added this Unit to my avr. And there is a big difference in the heat. It stays cool. I would recommend this unit. This is the small one. But still works great 👍. Would rather had the bigger one. But for 50.00. I’ll keep it. Great quality 👌. Low noise levels. Adjustable fan. Great buy!! Easy-to-use.

    Extend reliability! Keep it cool!
After learning about AC Infinity products from a friend, I reviewed their options at their website and bought the AC Infinity Aircom S7 – Top-Exhaust unit for my Yamaha TSR-7810 receiver.Installation was a breeze. After reviewing the instruction panel on top of the unit, I choose setting it up using “Smart Mode”. It comes with a nice Instruction Manual that I read later on.We’ve been experiencing 95+ degree F weather in the SF Bay lately (like today) and even though my 20′ x 25′ family room is air-conditioned to 81-degrees F (for my wife), the Yamaha does warm up internally up to 88-degree F and activates the “Smart Mode” using the lowest & quiet fan speeds. Once it lowers the temp to 84-degrees F, it shuts off (AC Infinity spec).I’m sure that my Yamaha internal heat normally goes beyond the 88-degrees F target set by AC Infinity, since before I bought the Aircom S7, I felt the top of my cabinet and it was very warm to hot to the touch after being on for an hour or so.Since the shelter-in-place order here, I’ve had my Dell laptop connected to my Yamaha & LG 55″ HDTV to do work, watch the news, TV shows and an assortment of movies (Blu-ray or Prime or Netflix, etc.). So the Yamaha is probably on 15+ hours during the day / evening, meaning it’s generating a lot of internal heat way above 88-degrees F. Well, not anymore with my Aircom S7 installed! Yes, I’m a very satisfied customer!!! :-)It’s nice to have such a nicely designed quality fan accessory product that works efficiently and quietly. Heat is the enemy of any audio electronic components and keeping it cool will extend the life of that unit for years if you use a product like, … the AC Infinity Aircom S7!!!Warranty: 2-Years from the date of purchase.Highly recommended.

    Simple, Effective, Fairly Priced
Modern home receivers are still using a terrible method of amplification. Each channel is amplified, regardless of whether or not you are using it.So, if you’ve purchased that “11.2” AVR with all the watts, they are hot, and amped, even if you only actually have 2 speakers plugged in. What does this mean?LOADS of wasted power, which also means HEATYet, for whatever reason, AVR manufacturers also don’t bother to (generally) actively cool. I had chosen to solve this by buying a cheap $20 desk fan and just pointing it at my AVR, but that fan died.So I took to amazon to see if anyone else had a more elegant solution. This is what I found, and it is exactly what I was looking for. The concept is simple, it’s just some PC cooling fans in a plastic box with a fan controller and a simple LED. But it’s priced fairly, it’s quiet, and the features you don’t need that are included with this are very nice.(I turned off the ambient LED lights, for example, using a simple button press)I had briefly considered buying PC fans and putting them in a box or something, but when I saw this, and saw the price, I did not hesitate to pull the trigger. My *ONLY* note that isn’t 100% positive is that the images were a bit misleading about the size. If I had read the details, it wouldn’t have been a shock, but I bought it at first sight, and was expecting it to roughly match the dimensions of my receiver. This unit is basically just two PC fans in size, so it doesn’t cover the entire (or even most) of the top of my unit. However I set this to 50% fan speed, and could not hear it over ambient room noise, and when I put my hands on my AVR after about 30 seconds, it was already cool to the touch. PERFECT

    Also incredible for cooling laptops….
….so if you can overlook the mess, I have 4 of these and 1 of the model above it, cooling laptops. I know these are more for AV gear in a cabinet, but I thought I’d give them a try for laptops.I included a screenshot of Hyper-V with 4 running VMs on Windows Server 2019 I built out last night, running on an 8 year old Dell Precision M6600 that I have never been able to keep under 200f. The VMs are running WS2012R2 & SharePoint 2013, WS2019 & SharePoint 2019, and a double-instance SQL 2019 Server for the SharePoint installs; not an easy load. I’m including that info because the M6600 is an oven when it is idle, not mention a wood burning stove with that load. The AC Infinity AIRCOMs keep the M6600 at 172f-185f and the other laptops between 114f-135f.I purchased the top exhaust models, laptops sit on top of the AIRCOMs, so the cool air is pulled from underneath, pushed through the top of the AIRCOM and through the bottom of the laptop – increases the force of air through the laptop and out of the laptop rear exhaust. Not exactly what AC Infinity had designed it for, but it really works awesome for laptops. The price is perfect, they’re super quiet and they’re built solid. Not like the plastic USB cooler garbage you pick up at a retail chain to cool a laptop, these freakin’ work and they freakin’ work awesome – they’ve got some weight to them and they move air.

    I Like It
It is of good quality. Of course it’s a easy install, set on top of your a/v unit, plug in, done. The noise level is relative to fan speed. I power up the a/v unit and cooling fan, on low, at the same time. Nice and quiet and keeps the unit cool. A/V units require a open air mounting surface position for proper air flow, don’t box it into something.

Powerful fan with little to no noise.
I was experiencing internet interruptions due to heat buildup in the equipment closet and this fan system has helped eliminate the issue. Very quiet and powerful with auto on/off.

Although this is only the 12” wide model, with only 2 fans & no electronic controls (just a preprogrammed temperature cycle), I decided to get this model as it was almost 50% off ($66, down from $120). My main surround sound amp is 17” wide (standard size) & puts out a lot of heat. Since getting this fan & running it on it’s smart setting (both LEDs lit), my amp now runs cold to touch! It’s amazing how much heat is dispersed. Plus, the fan doesn’t even need to run continuously. It cycles on & off as needed, mainly on the low setting. On hotter days, it might bump the fan up to the medium setting, before dropping back to low then cycling off. Very quiet: I don’t hear the fan at all. I liked this model so much, I bought 3 more at the discounted price, for my other surround sound amps. The amp in my bedroom always ran very hot, but now it’s also cold to touch, because it’ll cycle all the way up to medium-high (before cycling down & off). So far this fan has never needed to go to the highest fan setting. It’s a very well made unit with quality parts & feel. I’m sure it would look better if I had the larger 17” wide, 3 fan model, but those are currently over $200 each. For the amount of hot air this 12” wide fan moves away, it’s not necessary to buy the bigger model (aside from the standardized look to match the amp’s width). So glad I got this as long term heat will eventually wear out your modern day amp (I’ve gone through a few over the past 25 years compared to my 80s Pioneer amp that’s still working! – I’ve bought a few high-end Yamaha & Onkyo amps over the years). I’ve had these fans now for over 3 months & even with daily usage (my one amp is on for around 12 hours/day) they are all still working great. It’s not often that I’m this impressed with a modern product. I’d give it 6-stars if I could! I’ve since purchased a bunch of AC Infinity fans & controllers for my audio amp rack. These products are also of high quality & work very well.

Works like a charm. I’m using it for almost 6 months and my amplifier is enjoying a cool and steady airflow.
