Great for FaceTiming!
I love this little phone stand! I FaceTime with my grandson (who lives far away from me) to do his homework & this little stand has made it SO much easier ! I sent him the green stand & I kept the purple one. I used to use a silicon tablet stand of the easel type. It has a slight back tilt to it, so did not work well for FaceTiming. I had to try to juryrig a way to keep the phone vertical. It usually didn’t work well. This stand keeps the phone straight up & stable! My face remains centered in the viewfinder, it’s very easy to either hold up a paper or move the phone to show my grandson whatever I need to show him while explaining during homework time. My grandson uses his in the same way.I have a protective rubberized case on my iPhone 7. It’s slimmer than an otter-type case & thicker than the glam-type cases I’ve seen. It fits just fine in this stand, case & all. My grandson, on the other hand, has a thicker protective case on his iPhone 8. It is an otter-type case & is too thick to fit in this stand. Fortunately, the case is easily removable so he just removes his phone from its case while we FaceTime then puts it back on when we’re done. This stand easily fits any phone up to about 1 centimeter thick (depth) & I highly recommend it to anyone needing a phone or tablet stand within that parameter!

We got these as stocking stuffers for the family and they seemed to love them. They hold phones with east and appear to be well made. Cute and functional what could be better?

Its ok for my phone, but definitely not great
Interesting holder for a smartphone, but not exactly perfect. What I do like is that its pretty unique and comes in some fun colors. The blue and orange is pretty accurate in color as shown on Amazon’s photos. I currently use these at work to prop up my smartphone on the desk and at home or for travel too. The build and durability seem good so far, but I have only had these for a few months.The fit can be good or not too good depending upon the thickness of your phone and if its in a case. For the Moto G4+ with a pelican case, it just fits in portrait orientation, but doesn’t really fit all the way when in landscape orientation. I think the case is just a little thick on the top and bottom of the phone. So depending on the thinness of your phone and/or case, your fit will be unique. The other issue I have is that the hands that grip the side of the phone are a bit too big in my opinion as it blocks the side of the screen in portrait orientation. If you have thin side bezels, this can be an issue. When displaying in landscape mode, the issue is that the speaker and fingerprint scanner is blocked.In conclusion, depending on what device you have, screen bezels, device thickness and where buttons/speakers are placed this can be a good holder or not so good.

Bought a package of two (2) for my wife and I and we use them far more often than I thought we would. One stays in the kitchen and we use it all the time to prop up the phone to read a recipe. The other stays on my desk at work and I often find myself throwing my phone in it to browse photos or other media casually.It can fit a number of different phone sizes which is super handy (pun intended), and by sliding it up or down the phone you have full control of the viewing angle.The fingers sometimes get in the way if you need to tap anything at the very edges of the phone, but this is quite minor and hasn’t been a big issue for me yet.
