Pleasantly surprised!
After reading about this phone in articles and reviews, I expected problems. But the phone surprised me. It’s doing very well!This A15 feels heavier and more sturdy than my old A51. The screen is brighter and more readable. It charges quicker and the battery lasts longer.I don’t do anything intensive on my phone. I make calls, send texts, browse to look something up, use maps, etc.–no complex games or anything. I also took off all the game bloatware it came with to free up space. The phone handles all I do very well. I do notice a slight lag between pressing a button and getting a response. I can live with that. For the price, this is an outstanding phone that meets my needs.

Not for lionel wifi camera caboose!
This works great with Visible wireless.As with any new phone the transfer of files & service is daunting. LOL. This was no exception. My older s10 older, fading battery barely made it thru the process. I would suggest using wireless mode to transfer & leave older phone charging! Nice phone. Working great. Getting used to the difference. There are some apps that were not compatible with this phone! I’ll manage replacing those apps but the biggest disappointment is for my lionel wifi camera caboose! The apk/app isn’t compatible! Very disappointing! I use my 10 inch tablet but now can’t use this phone. I don’t think I’d buy a more expensive phone for that apk but surprised it doesn’t work. Who knows if it will work on a better phone! Same system no? Otherwise I’m tolerating it. Worth the upgrade. Looks like lionel is still working on this wireless technology. Hope they figure it out. These trains ain’t cheap. Maybe this helps the next person?

Disappointing Performance
After a few days with the phone, I can say that it’s pretty sub-par. It’s definitely a step up from my previous device, but I honestly expected more from a 5G Galaxy device in 2024.The camera is nice, and the body is solid. The screen is beautiful, visually, but is slow and unresponsive, at times refusing to register taps and swipes.I’ve owned Galaxy devices before, but the Samsung bloatware on this one takes the cake. Dozens of apps are preloaded that you’ll have to either disable or uninstall to get some of the precious memory back, and OneUI is aggressively intrusive, causing compatibility and sign in issues with just about everything you want to use.I suppose this is a case of get-what-you-pay-for, but the user experience seems oddly frustrating, given the promised five years of support.This phone has reaffirmed that the Samsung device environment is not for me.

Great new phone for fantastic price
Brand new phone for less than $200! Works great, was completely unlocked as stated. Switching samsung phones is so easy, I just plugged both this phone and my old phone in, started the samsung cloud sync, and left it to do it’s thing while I went to bed. Phone was set up and ready to just add Sim card and go in the morning. Phone is working great, love it so far. I’ve had it for 3 days. I can start using my phone at 6am when I start getting ready and all day for doing schoolwork, it’s now 2pm and it’s only dropped to 92% battery! My old phone would have been down to 40-50% by now. Thanks, amazon!

Pleasantly surpised!
I purchased this phone as a backup in case one of our phones breaks. After the initial setup, it was soooo slow I almost boxed it back up to return. But I remembered encountering this issue on other phones, caused by restoring data and apps from previous phone.I decided to fully update the phones software, factory reset it, and then declined to skip the prompt to transfer data from other device. Immediate difference. NIGHT AND DAY. make sure you try this if it’s slow out of the box. I honestly think I might switch over to budget phones long term, this is great for the price, and handles everything just fine. Full days usage and I’m ending the day with 58% battery.

I got this smartphone as an alternative to a.) Getting my iPhone 12 pro scrubbed.b.) buying another iPhone.To explain, I got hacked while using my iPhone and my bank wanted me to get it scrubbed in case there was some sort of malware on it. So rather than driving 40 minutes and paying $190 to get that done along with the paperwork certifying it was done, I just bought a brand new Samsung A-15 from Amazon. It performs well and satisfied my bank. Price is probably the .ain’t factor in my purchasing this phone. I think I owned a Galaxy S-21 before, and I like this A-15 better. It has no water resistance, one speaker, but it has decent cameras and is fast enough loading internet sites. It’s a tad big and heavy, but the + side is a larger screen. There is no inductive charging, but it uses a 25 watt charger that makes charging relatively fast. Also, the battery lasts a long time. I think it’s 5000 miliamps. I’ve had it last over 3 days, so that’s a plus. If you are an iOS user and have Apple Mail, that can be challenging, but once you set everything up, it’s no big deal.
