I bought this laptop on June 9, 2022, and this review is being made today (July 10th) so I can give a good enough review of this product after some time using it.I bought this laptop for the soul purpose of needing it specifically for college, I wanted a laptop that isn’t so expensive. I wanted a laptop that looks nice, that is good quality, but not enough to viciously eat up a huge chunk out of my money. I want to spend only what’s necessary, and luckily I found this laptop. I read the positive reviews which made me feel motivated, yet made me nervous at the same time when seeing the negatives.✅Honestly I’m glad I ignored them because this laptop is good, it works perfectly fine. The touch screen is very convenient when writing my essays, short stories, or when I’m doing my math assignments/exams online, and when I’m watching YouTube/Netflix in my spare time. I’ve had a much smaller laptop previously, so it was weird for me when typing on this laptop because it’s bigger than my old one, but thankfully I’ve adapted eventually. The sound/speaker is good, I can hear it loud and clear. The face cam is good, I use it for my zoom classes and it works great. No complaints as of yet. Also the charger that comes with it is completely new, clean, and functional—I don’t know if it’s just me? But the first time I used the charger? It got hot, like really hot when I first used it. It was only that first time and then it never happened again after some uses. I often forget to unplug the charger when I’m not using it but it never was hot when left in that state—but regardless I put it away as soon as when I don’t need it, don’t want it to blow up or something. The battery life is amazing, it last the whole day and I only charge it before bed since it charges up really quickly, so it’s not necessary to leave it plugged all night till ya wake up. Hell you can even charge it the next morning and you’ll be fine. Also there’s two sides where you can charge your laptop both left and right, along with it has an extra volume buttons on one side. The power button has a light that’ll blink softly on and off when you haven’t turned it off completely to let ya know that it’s still on. Overall I don’t have any complaints about the laptop, it’s the best laptop I’ve had.⚠️Though I must remind you that the keys do not light up, so you’re going to have to have a light near by, unless you already have the keys memorize then you’re fine. I don’t mind using a light, after-all I’ll be using this laptop a lot for a while—I’ll probably won’t need the light near me by that point. Don’t place too much pressure on the touch screen it’s not necessary, or else you’ll damage it. Screen quality is great, I have anything negative to say about it…just that it’s too bright? Wish it had a dark mode.⚠️I must give ya a heads up that the laptop could break for the screen side of the laptop itself, with enough heavy pressure or impact it could damage the screen. It’s pretty bendable if you put enough force on it—but why would anyone in their right mind do something like that?? If anything, everyone knows ya have be really careful not to drop it, place anything too heavy on the laptop, or bending the screen. Be aware of the backpacks with laptop pockets, most of them do not have padding on the bottom, or enough of it, and it can damage the laptop if being too careless. To be honest all laptops can get damaged if not being too careful. So just care for it when taking it outside of your home. Again I wish it had dark mode, but that’s just my only complaint, or more like me nitpicking…but other than that it’s a good product.In conclusion, it’s works great for school, Listening to music on it, for watching movies, and is overall good quality. It’s not so expensive, and it worth buying this laptop. I will update this further on in the future if there’s anything negative or positive to add, and I’ll even add a video later, so you can see the laptop before making your purchase 👍.Hope this helped you make up your choice whether or not to buy this laptop, good luck!🍀👍UPDATE:11/21/22It’s has dark mode now, and so far the laptop is still working perfectly well! I have no problem with the touch screen, the battery life is still amazing, and I have no lagging/glitchy problems at all so far. Again this is a APP based kind of laptop, so there might be other programs you use that might not work on this laptop. My review is still the same, I like this product, and for it’s price! Bought this for my 12 year old…her Chromebook was about 5 years old and just not doing what we needed any longer. This is sturdy, can be used like a laptop with keyboard or a tablet. Great amount of storage and great camera!
