This tablet is a great performing full computer
I just love this tablet. It is super fast, sleek, beautiful, fun, practical, useful. It is my very favorite tablet, ever to date. I use it for fun, for games, for work. Real apps, real full browsing in a mobile form factor. Great tablet computer!!! Highly recommended. Unreal battery life! Enjoy!

Amazing
Beautiful design and the HD quality of the screen brings it all together. I got the snapdragon x elite (12 core processor). Transitions are smooth and fast. This product is well worth the price. Setup was easy even though there was many updates to undergo.

Good device, but beware of ARM architecture on this generation
There is a lot to like about a Surface. The form factor is terrific and I find both the keyboard and charger excellent. Battery life is good. My uses are primarily email, documents, and web. (no heavy CPU or RAM utilizers). BUT with the ARM based Snapdragon architecture, there are applications and drivers which are not supported. Google drive for desktop is not, and Google does not plan on supporting. This has really impacted the usability of the device for me in places without wifi or poor wifi. Had I known this I probably would have gone with a Chromebook 2 in 1, as these have really come a long way and it would have been much cheaper. The second issue is that I have had reliability issues with prior Surface devices. So I would consider the extended service plan. For this reason alone, it is better to purchase the device at Amazon rather than from Microsoft directly. The third party insurance is MUCH cheaper and seems comparable. One would think Microsoft support would be better and the customer experience on the Microsoft store to be good, but this has not been my experience. So outside of these, I do love this device so far and have found the functionality good.UPDATE after 6 weeks of use.I still like the device quite a bit, and a key advantage of the Snapdragon set up is the long battery life. However, a few other issues have arisen. This is mostly minor stuff, BUT Microsoft has not provided much in the way of support on the forums and despite a large number of other users with the same issue. For example, on start up, the keyboard is not recognized by the device until the keyboard is dethatched and reattached. An external screen does not allow night light even though it is present on the main device screen. Neither of these were issues with my Surface 8. The boot up on this device is MUCH longer on this device than my old Surface 8 (and yes, I minimized start up apps and all the other things to address this). Things should get better with next generations, not worse.

If you are in the photobooth industry, DO NOT BUY this version of Surface Pro!
If you are in the photobooth industry, and you offer printed copies of the photos taken by your software, DO NOT buy this tablet for your booth. While it is a great tablet, because it uses a Snapdragon processor, it will not install any of the most popular printers such as DNP, HITI, Canon, etc. You must purchase tablets that use an Intel processor such as an I5 or I7 in order to install the print drivers.

Nice tablet
Replacing my wifeâs desktop. She loves its display and touchscreen. Easier for her to use as she doesnât type. Itâs light weight and easy for her to use for shopping and recipes in kitchen.

WHEN it works, it works.
I’ve been using this slowly while I transition my main work laptop to this. Unfortunately it’s not truly usable. The times I do use this, I’ve notice that it freezes at least once a day requiring a hard reset. Its facial recognition is not usable at all if you have glasses. I have frameless glasses and this can not recognize my face. My samsung tablet, samsung phone and iPhone are able to open even with framed glasses.I still have a month left of use before I opt to return it, but if it keeps freezing, then I can’t continue using it.

Beautiful design, Keyboard not included which is deceptive
I feel like a fool, I bought this Surface Pro on whim as I needed a new computer. I saw the ads on Amazon and I love AI to make my life easier so I was instantly sold. I didn’t realize that the keyboard and pen were sold separately as the photos, videos on the Amazon listing are misleading as they all show the attached keyboard. I had to purchase the keyboard and pen separate and that was an additional $300 I wasn’t planning on spending. Amazon should change the listing photo to show only the Surface Pro tablet without the keyboard and make more clear that the keyboard is separate. I have never used a Surface before so I had no idea. Here are my thoughts 24 hours into owning this computer/tablet:Pros: Sleek, elegant design. I absolutely love the blue color that I purchased, it’s gorgeous. The screen resolution and colors are fantastic. I am a digital artist and it perfectly displays my artwork. The facial recognition and pin entry are so easy to set up and use, very similar to a phone so I really like that. The video camera for online meetings is very good quality and I like the blur background feature that is built in. Copilot is very useful and I can see it helping me in my business, setting reminders, giving me ideas, writing captions for social media and more. I’m a big ChatGPT fan so having copilot built in with the push of a button simplifies and makes my life easier. It’s very quiet, no loud fan, doesn’t over heat. The battery life is amazing, hours watching YouTube, videos with moderate to high brightness the battery is lasting all day! It’s very portable and easy to carry around. And I enjoy it better than my work computer. The built in stand is nice and I was able to connect my mouse to it without issue via Bluetooth. The customization options and adding colors are super fun and my home screen looks beautiful.Cons: While I am big on AI and productivity, I still value my privacy and the fact that there isn’t an optional camera from lense cover is very annoying. I bought one to add but I think it might mess with the facial recognition so yeah I guess I won’t be walking around in my underwear in front of the computer lol. Second, the laptop froze yesterday when I tried to download Google Drive yesterday and I now understand that they are not compatible which by the way is a big miss. I do not want a Chromebook but I do want to use Google photos to backup my artwork and that is a defect that they are not compatible. But worse is that within less than 2 hours of having this laptop it froze and I had to manually restart, that is a huge red flag. I have been using it all day today and haven’t had that issue to I’m hoping to write it off to the fact that things were still updating yesterday when this occured. I believe that for the money 512 GB of storage is absurdly low. The blue color was not available in 1 TB. My phone has more storage than that lol. The Cocreate option was an interesting selling point featuring AI art capability and on my gosh, what a joke that is. It’s an add on to the paint app and the art or generates is very low quality, which I won’t be using. They made a big deal out of this advertising in the video and on Microsoft’s homepage but honestly it’s ridiculous. I’m hoping I can use the pen for other things with the Surface. For now I’m still undecided if I will be keeping this machine. I’m going to use for a few more days and determine if it’s worth the money of if I’m better off with a $400 laptop that will do everything that I need. I will update this review as I discover more pros and cons too.

Had trouble deciding if I wanted a laptop or a tablet. Now I have both. Works great.

Good so far

Have been researching and coveting for a while. And I can say that even as an Apple fanboy, this machine runs wonderfully and is a joy to play/work with.

I had so many problems/bugs/lags with this device. I was expecting a smoother and easier ride with this device viven it’s the new SNAPDRAGON X chip. It was just laggy and felt like an usual intel laptop is tons better than this. I am convinced that it was just this specific laptop I got which had the problems, hopefully others are not facing this issue as well. Maybe with time whenthese issues are fixed or worked upon, I will consider buying.
