Awesome Portable Battery!
This is a great emergency backup power source! It only weighs about 8 pounds so I can easily carry it around with the built-in handle. The air vents are on the sides so it is easy to keep them clear from items that are plugged in the front. The screen is clear and easy to read. It is pretty intuitive and clearly displays the battery power remaining and how much time you can continue to charge everything that is plugged in.You can charge the battery with the included cord or purchase a separate cord or solar-charging cord and/or panel. I love that I can charge devices on the battery while I am actively charging the battery. I love that you can plug in 4 – 6 devices or more if you use splitters or extension cords – its awesome! It does make a quiet humming sound when the fan is on, but it is barely noticeable, especially if you are using your laptop/phone/TV.The battery works great for using as a WiFi hotspot when you go camping or take a day trip to the park or beach or a child’s soccer tournament. It last for hours and keeps all of our devices going and everyone happy. The battery is reliable, easy to use and works wonders for my peace of mind!

Easy to use and so helpful!
I pretty much love everything about this thing. It weighs less than 8 pounds so it’s easy to lug around with built in handle. It has a horizontal configuration with the fan vents on the sides which means it brilliantly doubles as a surface to place whichever device you’re remotely powering, which is usually a hot spot or a lap too or a phone for me. So it keeps the whole set up safe and organized vs just running a bunch of devices in a series, often having to put them on the ground. The screen is very intuitive and easy to read, clearly telling you not only how much charge is left but how much time you have left at the current usage. You can charge with the included AC wire, a not included DC wire or a solar charging cable and solar panel (not included and pamphlet recommends the Apache brand of both for solar charging, but I have used a Kenwood 100amp solar panel/generic compatible wire). You can have devices plugged in a running while the station is plugged in as well, so we effectively use it while at home as a backup power source for our 5G WiFi router in case of power outages (which we have frequently) which have so far been a seamless transition from power sources. It does make a very quiet hum when the fan is on, but certainly not distracting or overbearing. When we take it out to power out WiFi hotspot at the beach or camping, it lasts for hours, which is our main usage for this. Really takes camping to the next level of civilization and is just a must have, especially for camping with kids, who love having WiFi and a power source no matter how remote we are. Reliable and amazing and easy!

lower power output, does not charge
First of all, this portable power station looks so good, light weight. I was so impressive with it’s weight, and how fast it was charged. (with the fan on.)My watch, cellphone, camera and laptop all have type C charging cable, but this power bank only has 1 type C and 2 USB, which is not convenient, but acceptable. However, this is a defective product at all. It’s power output is way too low. and does not charge my laptop at all. When I plug in my computer, it either does not charge or uses my computer’s battery to charge it’s own.I tried different cable, and different devices, it just does not work. I turned it off and on to restart it, I checked the manual guide, I downloaded the app, did not find any solution. The type C only provide 5-7 W for me, the AC output provides more, but the fan is too loud at night, when I placed it on my night stand. The USB port provide 1-3 W.The APP does not always work either, the setting automatically changed the turnoff time, and it just disconnected.I am so disappointed. This product looks so good, but does not work at all.

Charging option is not optimal…
The portable power station works great for small power such as powering a heated 12v blanket overnight. The reason I docked it two start is…1. When you purchase solar panels, they do not come with a USB C. You will need to find a charging cord where it’s rated at 100W to charge effectively and efficiently a 100W solar panel.2. The system does not have an auto shut off when there is no power connected so it drains it out when you’re not charging anything.

comes in handy
The Ampace Andes 300 is my first portable power station and so far, it’s been amazing. Obviously it won’t power major appliances, but for what you’re paying, you can charge multiple devices multiple times which comes in handy when you need it. It takes about an hour to reach almost full charge. In my testing, it went from 0-93% in an hour. The last few percentages takes the longest. The app is intuitive and straight to the point. Every button has a function, so time isn’t wasted when browsing the app. I like leaving in the car, just in case I don’t have access to a power outlet, so it gives me peace of mind when I’m out and about. I haven’t experienced any negatives and everything is working properly.
