I’ve got an F-150 and was looking for a phone mount. I’ve tried other vent styles that did not work due to getting in the way of the shifter. I purchased this along with a compatible phone case and it works great. The magnet is very strong and there are no worries of the phone dropping or moving while driving.

If you have a mag-safe case or phone this is a very strong magnet. I have an iPhone 16 pro max, basically the largest phone Apple currently makes and it doesn’t budge at all. Feels very strong and secure. The adhesive is likely to fall off before your phone comes off the magnet.Unfortunately, during very hot days in California the adhesive began to peel under the weight of the phone but I just stuck it back on and waited another 24 hours to use. Seems to be holding fine since then. I think this would happen to any adhesive though if the car temperature is going over 100 deg.

This has been a wonderful replacement once I realized it has to be attached to a smooth (not bumpy) surface and you have to be very careful upon removing your phone by holding the base down. Otherwise the magnetic pull is so strong it pulls the entire base off. I just fixed those 2 things and it is great!
