Keyboard does not work
The condition it came was great. However, during set up it came to my attention that the keyboard keys are jumbled. Caps lock doesnât work, when shift 2 I get â, shift 6 I get &. Seems most of the shift keys are off.

Rather than ordering a new unit, I went with certified renewed for the significant savings. The specs exceeded what I needed to run the software I use for business. That was my only concern.The Surface came with Win10 pro, which works well. Unfortunately, it was not possible to upgrade to Win 11, so it is not running the identical setup as my development computer. However, this does what I need it to do.This unit is quite impressive for an older device. The keyboard cover was included and a power adapter. The screen is pristine it is also free from scratches or dead pixels. It was received in excellent condition. The OS is able to receive updates and the security patches.All in all, this has been a great experience and I have zero regrets ordering a refurbished unit. I have ordered a second one based on this experience. It runs well and makes easy work for what it is tasked to do. The unit has a single USB port, which I expanded with a USB hub. There has been no issues after a couple of months of regular use. Perfect for what I needed. Had to scrub a number of odd apparently personally selected system settings to stop weird issues with freezes, cursor, mouse usage ( language settings and others) to make it work⦠but after that, it was great value for money. As first experience of a tablet with laptop capabilities used for Ms suite of applications including PowerPoint word excel,Teams video calls it was great ⦠it has also exceeded my expectation for streaming video services, remote projection through TVs etc ⦠all very good.Would suggest the refurb team ensure a full scrub and Windows 10 configured for conventional Canadian settings before delivery⦠otherwise⦠very happy!
