Surprisingly amazed!
They have so many of these to choose from! But let me tell you, it works really good and keeps my xbox very cool! Has 3 velocities and you can keep the lights or turn them of. The price is awesome compared to others! Loving the attachment to hang my control and head set, plus the accessories to block the dust in the open areas of the xbox. It’s quiet as well!

Helps keep everything noticeably cooler. Good light options, small hooks/shelfs work well enough. The little rubber plugs that it come with arenât great but thatâs okay. 9/10

Unit works well. I do not notice it running. I have my xbox installed below my TV. I was concerned the lighting would distract me but so far it has not. I have had it about two weeks so far. I leave it on in automatic. It comes on and goes off on it’s own. I also like the two controller hangars on it.

Almost the perfect cooling fan, but could be so much better
Setting thermodynamics aside this is almost the perfect cooling fan. There are two things that I really dislike about this fan that could be changed very easily to make it a great fan.
First, I really can’t express enough how much I absolutely HATE that this has RGB lighting and that there is no option to turn it off. Plenty of adults buy gaming consoles you don’t have to add RGB to everything. If you insist on adding RGB then have some basic humanity and make it optional by allowing us to disable it. If your customer has migraines, seizures, or any other number of disorders itâs an honest medical concern.
Setting aside the genuine health concerns itâs annoying and distracting beyond reason as soon as the sun starts going down. Especially in the case of this particular item where the spinning flashing strobe is multi-colored. Itâs not even a nice soothing constant solid color you can get used to. Itâs like a crack head is throwing a rave and all you are trying to do is focus on gaming and trying to figure out where the muzzle flashes are coming from⦠oh thatâs just the fan, again.
Second, the fan is supposed to have button that allows for manual control of the auto on/off feature. It has a button but it is totally useless. The fan is constantly resetting itself back to auto. No matter how many times I want to manually control the speed of the fan, set it and forget it style, the fan overrides me and goes back to auto. Ramping up and down constantly. I live in a part of the country with seasons. In the winter we routinely get into the single digits and in the summer we get into the triple digits. Being able to manually set the fan and tell it that itâs summer time and it will need to be max out all month is 100% preferred. When itâs 117 outside thereâs no reason this fan should be ramping up and down trust me, the xbox is hot, give it all sheâs got Mr Scott.
So make the fan work as described by actually making manual work and those button more than just visual and give us the option to disable the lights and this will be the perfect product. Until then Iâm unplugging this every time the sun goes down and relying on something else during the summer that I can trust not to ramp down on me for no reason.

I ordered this the same day I purchased my Xbox Series X. It works great and only $30!
I looked at so many brands and this had all the features I wanted and had great reviews.
Itâs only been two months, but I havenât had any problems since I purchased it on January 10, 2024.
THIS ANKEY FAN is way better than other similar products because:
1) I donât have to manually play with any switches to turn the cooling fan on or off while gaming.
2) I really like the fact that this fan automatically runs low or high speed, depending upon how hot the Xbox gets.
3) You can also switch the fan to low, medium, or high manually if you prefer.
4) It isnât loud, even on high.
5) A place to leave your controller and headset charging when youâre done gaming is great!
Itâs a really great product, super easy install, and I like the colors of the fan.

Havenât had the fan long. However, I can tell the difference in how much cooler my console is now with the cooling fan. It is a nice addition to my system. The dust covers are a bonus and the fan is automatic. So far so good time will tell.

The above is probably the most important point. Bottom line: would I buy this product again, knowing what I know now? The truth is, Iâd be MORE likely to buy it now. It was incredibly easy to install. The lights are unobtrusive in my mind. The fan does turn on and off automatically based on the Xboxâs core temperature. The USB ports are a nice feature but weâre not powerful enough to support the external storage drive I have. It was easy enough to move my headset dinged to one of those and my drive to one on the Xbox.

I have a little bro that I visit from time to time. He’s been through a lot, and Xbox is his companion. Kinda like my pc and me. Recently he called in distress saying his Xbox kept power cycling and don’t know what to do. I went to read Ms community feedback and reddit and found someone is using a fan like this. I thought it may have been a overheating issue.
It was overheating. But the oem fan wasn’t extracting heat. You touch the side of the series x in the middle area and it’s quite warm. As soon as we mount the fan, warm air started to come out. It’s been 12hrs and he’s still gaming and streaming OK.
MUst have for series x, especially couple of years old units.

Fonctionne super bien excepté une chose , pour une raison que jâignore les ports USB ne fonctionnent pas pour mon disques dur externe. mais les deux ports USB fonctionne parfaitement pour la recharge de manettes et pour mon casque audio sans fil 🙂
