It’s small and easy to carry around, which is great for someone like me who doesn’t want to lug around heavy gear. The tripod feels sturdy enough to hold my camera steady, which is exactly what I needed.One of the best parts is the remote control that comes with it. This remote makes it super easy to take pictures or start recording without having to run back and forth to the camera. It’s really useful when I’m trying to get into my own shots or when I’m recording videos by myself.Setting it up was a piece of cake, too. You just take it out, pop your camera on, and you’re pretty much good to go. It’s also pretty versatile because you can adjust the height a little bit by bending the legs here and there, which is nice for getting the perfect angle.The only downside is that because it’s so compact, it’s not the best for really heavy cameras or for very high angles. But for everyday use and for most cameras, it does the job well.In all, this mini tripod is a great buy if you need something small, reliable, and easy to use. Plus, the remote is a game-changer for taking photos and videos more conveniently.

Quality varies – Update
UPDATE – The seller saw my review and contacted me about the issue. The defective product was promptly replaced. I’d still like to see a better mechanism to lock the ball-head in place in order to support something heavier than a cell phone, but that’s probably not realistic with the materials used. For cell phone tripods, this works fine.I bought 3 of these in order to get the mini tripod with the phone holder. Not expecting pro quality at this price. The ball head and phone holder all all plastic but functional. The quality of phone holders seems to vary (see photos). One of the units doesn’t screw down entirely. It it tight on the mini tripod even though it doesn’t screw down completely, but on another tripod head you can see that there is a gap and it cannot get tight on that tripod. I know it’s that specific phone holder because the other holders screw down properly on that tripod. The ball head does allow me to shoot at an angle which is what I need (see photo). However, the screw to tighten the position of the ball head doesn’t seem to be able to very securely lock that position in place. I haven’t tightened it excessively for fear of breaking something. It does hold the position as I need it, but even when tightened pretty hard, I can still move the phone fairly easily. Anything heavier than a mobile phone may not hold well at an angle. I haven’t rated the remote control because it’s not something I’ll be using. Overall I expect these will work sufficiently for my needs.

Used to move webcam off desk to hide double chin
I used this for a 200 person webinar in combination with a Nexigo 4K web cam. I was able to raise the camera to eye level and give myself a better angle then the high mount I had on my monitor. It is very flexible and can really help position the camera. The same mount also worked for my ring light.

Handy but could be better
The legs are soft foam and bendable so you can set it up pretty much anywhere or attach it to stuff like a fence or a car. Lightweight and compact fits easily into a backpack. Remote works great with iPhone and fits on a keychain so you won’t lose it. The ball head doesn’t tighten very well so it does always hold the angle well. It also has a tendency to fall over at certain angles from the weight of the camera so you have to bend the legs outward which changes the level because they all move independently.
