I own roughly 78 pairs of earbuds – I use them to test VR/AR systems connectivity for work. It’s nice to be able to incorporate work and leisure the way I do and it allows me to have this sizable collection.From Beats to Sony to Noble to Final to Status…Bang & Olufsen to Master & Dynamic, Technics, Audio Technica…my much loved Denon Perl Pro and Campfire Orbit and even the surprising JLab Epic Lab … I have used nearly every major brand and own something from most of them. The Momentum 4, have something that they bring in terms of both fit and quality. The overall esthetic is lovely, the fit is sublime (I have inner ear cartilage piercings, so this is harder for me than others) and the quality out of the box is impressive.Depth of soundstage is leveled across the spectrum with an expansive feel. They provide almost aura-like audio sensation that is close to that of the Status Between ANC but not as detailed as the Final ZE8000MK2. Mids to highs are detailed without being bled and lows, while detailed feel a minor lack of impact that drives some songs to making you want to move and dance. Roll off from mid bass is nominal with a minor hint of detail loss but nothing unpleasant, it just exists. Overall, right out of the box, the sound is better tan a EQ’d set of Sony Xm4 or 5 while the fit and feel are so much better.So, they’re good. Yes. They don’t compete with the expansive and jaw dropping performance of my Beoplay Ex, Orbits, Falcom Max xMems and can’t touch my Audio Technica ATH-TWX9… they would worship the Denon Perl Pro if they had knees and could kneel in awe…BUT, there is something pleasant about them in the way they look, feel, settle gently in the ear and give that sense of warm audio goodness I exist from Sennheiser. They ARE good. If you only have more consumer level items like Beats, JBL, Nothing or the like, these will blow you away. If you’re a seasoned, picky audiophile you’ll find a genre in your expansive mental collection that these will appeal to and you’ll enjoy them as well.They’ll be my second daily driver, next to my Denons for a week and after that they’ll be part of the daily rotation I’m sure. They deserve it, because they do perform well.And for those complaining about ANC, it works as it should. Sounds waves are energy and if you think and read enough you’ll realize, you lose some semblance of nuance in using it…. just try a pair of Campfire Orbits that have no ANC and you’ll realize, with a good seal and quality kit, you don’t need it and the music is still loud, clean… moving.I’ll get another pair soon, I’m sure, the silver are calling to me…. maybe Sennheiser will have a sale sooner than later and save me a few bucks.

Third impression… Very Impressive
Edit.. We are going in for a third time on these boys. Not because I want to, but because they deserve it.!Using the personalized sound profile EQ is REQUIRED to get these to perform at their full potential but once you do, they open up beautifully like a decanted wine and turn into a different set of buds entirely. So my first impressions weren’t spot on with just the normal EQ. (the other review clearly didn’t take the time to use this feature and neither did I at first, they sound gorgeous afterwards.)After well over 30 hours listening time with these and going back to back to back repeatedly with Bose QC ultras and Jabra 10 elites… These are relentlessly impressive. I’m going all in, 5 stars.I will find myself saying, I want to know what this song sounds like with the momentum 4s if I’m using anything else.. So even my second impressions weren’t spot on. The sound is just so crisp and clean with a stark separation between vocals and each instrument with sharp notes and rumbling bass (although i still wish we had an extra click or two of bass). You can hear every little detail perfectly. The jabras give you more bass, a more full bodied intense harmonious and louder sound but its not as clean and distinct. while the jabras have the passion, the momentums have the precision. the bose are just meh by comparison in everything except ANC and honestly dont compete well with either after extensive testing.These sound clean, crisp, tight, and full. It’s like the artist is playing the music next to you rather than through a speaker. You can hear delicate parts of the music Bose and Jabra can’t even touch. The momentum 4s give you a very pretty, intricate sound where the jabras give you a powerful bold sound, so depending on your taste and type of music you like, jabras may be your preference.The momentum 4s kind of dominate on pure sound with the extra EQ although I stand by that the ANC is average like sony/apple etc and isn’t a huge difference between it being on and off. The fit and passive noise cancelling is phenomenal so you get pretty great performance overall, just not like Bose which is like turning the world off. Maybe someday other companies will crack the code like Bose did. The software is beautifully designed with lots of customization features, a very cool personalized sound profile which drastically changes the sound potential of these buds and you need to take the time to use it! Fully changeable touch features, other audio goodies people like.they are extremely comfortable over long periods, have a nice masculine clean look, touch controls are great and responsive, they connect to 2 devices seamlessly. zero connectivity issues, solid battery life, beautiful english accent to the voice prompts. case is great and i like how its not slippery as its covered in weaved fabric.they are encroaching on perfection. They could use a little more bass and ANC needs work. They don’t get quite as loud as others but I just turn them up higher? You won’t be maxing them out I can’t imagine.if you really appreciate music and want to feel like the music is in the room with you and hear every detail clearly, these are a winner.Easily in the fight for the top ear buds in 2024. They could be the best for you depending on your taste.

These earbuds fit comfortably in my ear and are secured with ample adapters and ear fins. The sound is pure Sennheiser – crystal clear without distortion and full of detail and depth. The bass is not hidden or over-emphasized but deep and muscular. Controls are by touching the flat panel on the earbuds. This is mostly intuitive. A tap pauses the music, a second tap restarts it, for example. Pairing is simple and after the initial pairing, the earbuds pair automatically. I find that they last perhaps 5 hours on a charge. It is important to keep both the earbuds and charging case clean or the charging is affected. The charging case is attractive and covered by cloth which gives a reassuring grip unlike smooth plastic. Lastly, I can wear these all day. They feel secure, though I wouldn’t jog or exercise as they can be shaken off.

After spending lots of money and disappointing times on at least 5 major brands, Iâm happy to share that my new Sennheiser Momentum 4 is checking all the boxes except for Dolby Atmos /Spatial and theyâre one of the best sounding, personalizing, comfortable, practical and Again fantastic sounding true wireless headphones. Iâm hoping in the next software generation using the open architecture, Dolby Atmos and much more will be available. Canât wait to try the Auracast broadcast listening feature in many parties in the near future.

Sound is Ok. Kind of tinny. Doesnât fit very well. Going to try foam tips to se if that helps. They kind of slowly slip out of the ears enough to change the sound signature. They dont sound much better than airpod pros 2. Anc is horrendous compared to the airpod pros 2. Wind is not its friend
