    Exceptional performance from an APU
For the price this APU is incredible, it ran even triple a games well at low settings (with FSR occasionally being needed) and ran esport games like valorant, Fortnite, and CS2 really well at 1080p. Overall great option for a “game tomorrow” machine because of the graphics performance, flexibility for upgrades because of the AM5 platform, and ability to add mid-high end graphics cards in the future when it fits your budget.

Fantastic performance and way better than expected gaming
Used this CPU in a few builds. The users are surprised of the performance every time.Pro 1: Extremely high cost/value ratio even at its initial higher listing price. Now prices have came down (at the time of this review) makes it even better.Pro 1: Paired with 6000 DDR5 this CPU shows its performance. There is a noticeable difference in response and snappiness in the OS and applications over the 5600G and 3200 DDR4.Pro 2: The gaming is 100% enjoyable with moderate settings at 1080. Anyone getting to gaming on a budget should be satisfied with what this little sucker can do.Con: Bad IHS design with many gaps for TIM to get suck in and it has.Pro Tip: Like all new CPU’s on the market you’ll most likely have to flash the BIOS of the new motherboard you are buying. You’ll need a donor CPU to flash if the board you choose don’t have something like Gigabytes Q-Flash capabilities, so be prepared.Would I buy it again? Yes.

  5. Yea I Bought It

    Very Strong APU
I bought this chip because it was NOT recommended by the big YTubers (you know who they are). It smokes any app, it plays 1080 games 85-110 fps. It runs memory at DDR5-7000 Responsiveness is incredible. This isn’t a 200fps chip using only the IGPU. With a standalone GPU card, it is a beast, gaming is flawless. It is superb at everything. Loading and making adjustments to a 29,000 line Excel file is super fast.

Runs cool and plays older games like a champ
For the price you can’t go wrong plays games like Alien Isolation at 3440 x 1440 at 55 fps. My 400 watt flex PSU was a bit weak for This cpu as this chip pulls some intense wattage compared to the 7700 I had before. I had to upgrade to a 500W. Idle temps with a 47mm all copper cooler was in the low 30’s C and gaming Temps were in the low to mid 60’s so not to bad.

Other than the weak vrm’s with the MSI PRO B650M-P and the T-Force Delta RGB DDR5 32GB Ram (6400MHz) this motherboard is definitely a solid choice if your not planning on overloading the vrm’s with an above 105 watt cpu then it is recommended to choose a more expensive board with better voltage regulators or add a water cooler as it reduces the temp by 50%. The max cpu wattage for this board with crappy regulators would not be anything over 105 watts and would be a mistake. A ryzen 9 would meltdown within a couple of months probably both cpu and motherboard would be lost. The ryzen 7 would be ok but use a water cooler as it reduces the temp by 50% from 95c to a steady 50c. ryzens cpu’s get very hot the stock cooler sucks big time it is recommended to get something better asap and anything is better however you can be sure that even an inexpensive water cooler will soon become the optimal method for completely maintaining an excellent thermal profile for the ryzen cpu’s.
