Great mobo! Reminder to use DDR5 RAM and UEFI-ready partition
Great motherboard so far after 5 days of use, everything runs great. Bought this to work for a faster/newer intel CPU (i5-12600K), as part of some upgrade tweaks for Star Wars Outlaws. Some key reminders for your build:* This motherboard requires DDR5 RAM. I actually realized this too late and had to throw out my old DDR4 RAM⦠good thing itâs cheap enough that I didnât mind this upgrade.* If you are loading in a pre-existing hard drive/SSD: before you disassemble your old rig, make sure you are âUEFI readyâ!! I was upgrading from a 9 year old motherboard, so my SSD was still configured for MBR (master boot record) which is old-school BIOS friendly. This MSI motherboard requires the new UEFI system, so you need to convert an old hard drive to be UEFI-ready (GPT = GUID Partition Table). This is really simple/fast with a Windows provided exe called MBR2GPT, there are guides online that show you how to do this on the command line. I did NOT know this before, so I had to reassemble my old rig just to run this step, which formatted my SSD to the correct partition style for UEFI. Then, my new MSI booted up automatically to Windows.

Awesome motherboard
I like the BIOS features. I like that you only need to clip the ram in on one side. Nice compact size. Included SSD clips and ssd heat sink are nice too.

MSI does it again!
The MSI B760M was a perfect choice for my A3 mATX build. Theyâve been my go to for smaller form factor builds!

Awesome Motherboard
Excellent build quality. They really thought about the layout and details on this board! Little things like the wifi antenna is magnetic so it can stick to a tower is just excellent design. I am running 4x32gb DDR5 6000mhz ram but wont go over 4800 stable. I believe this is more of a 4 Dim DDR5 issue than anything else. I use this for light gaming and photo editing in Pixinsight. Rock solid board

Single USB 3.0 header was my only disappointment.
I originally planned on putting this in a Lian Li Mesh mATX case, but then I bought the 14900kf. Well it’s in a much larger Deepcool case now. That case has two USB 3.0 19/20 pin header cables and this board only has one header 🙁 even my older Prime B660M-A D4 has two usb 3.0 headers. But this case has 3 m.2 slots so I used one for a m.2 USB 3.0 Header card. The MSI software is less invasive than Asus, or Gigabyte, also the BIOS is pretty easy to deal with. There is a fair amount of available high speed approved ram if you search, but my first set of approved X-DATA 6400mhz RAM had a bad stick. Trying Patriot 7000mhz next. It’s a fine mATX board, I would prefer this over any ASUS. Also looks good with my MSI GPU.

La mothermoard está pequeña pero se instala fácilmente aunque el software que tiene no me termina de gustar y solo tiene dos santas por si es importante para quien la configure, memorias mayor velocidad de 4800 el xmp automático

Got this motherboard for a work PC, and it’s quite easy to setup. Good IO, three m.2 slots, two of which have heatsinks, 2.5g ethernet. It could have a few more fan headers along the top, and it only has 2 RGB connectors which isn’t terrible but there could be a few more. The rear panel IO shield is also pre attatched which means you’ll never forget to put it in.The only main drawback is the absolutely terrible MSI software for controlling the RBG and other things. It straight up doesn’t work on an Active Directory controlled account so good luck using it at all if you use it in a work setting.
