Audio port in both front and back
I waited over a month to review this PC to get more perspective on usability and stability. In that time I have experienced no blue screens, hangs, or unexpected shutdowns, and it has performed admirably with everything I’ve thrown at it. So, I am very happy about that. Not only do you get a lot for your money, you don’t have to sacrifice on system stability.I bought this mini PC to replace an ancient tower PC that finally died. I wanted something that would be a drop in replacement, allowing me to plug all my peripherals, including the PC speakers audio jack, into the back of the unit. I don’t like the cable clutter of devices plugged permanently into the front of the PC. Because this was one of the very few mini PCs with an audio port in the back, it allowed me to plug all my cables in the back, leaving both front ports available for temporary devices such as thumb drives. I really love how much desk space was opened up relative to my old tower PC. (One nitpick: the USB-A ports on this PC are “upside-down” relative to how they are on many other PCs. I don’t know that there is any standard, but just that more companies have chosen one way vs. the other.)For those not aware, the Radeon 780m integrated GPU included in this mini PC’s processor is one of, if not the most, capable integrated GPUs available today. While it’s not going to challenge modern discrete graphics cards, it does allow you to play many modern games at OK to good frame rates on low settings. You will hear the fans when gaming. Not loud, but noticeable.I bought a second SSD and installed the latest versions of several Linux distros: Fedora, Ubuntu, and Linux Mint. All hardware seemed to be recognized, but on every distro the audio level was very quiet, even with the volume turned all the way up. I did not spend a lot of time trying to fix it. After running the first recommended update of Linux Mint, I lost dual monitor support and could only use one monitor. I’m not sure why.

Used this as my drawing tablet…
Works awesome, maybe a bit overpowered for what I’m doing. But it’s quiet and runs cool. Decent specs for the price, especially if you can get it on sale. Highly recommended, just don’t play newer games with it. And keep your expectations at appropriate level then you won’t get disappointed. 🙂

Great little P.C.
I’ve had mine for about two months with zero complaints so far. I’m not a gamer so I won’t comment on that. For office tasks and surfing the web its been fast and perfect. Windows 11 Pro is a nice touch. I like the form factor and would buy again.

perfect for ESXI
if you want a powerful yet portable ESXI server, this is as good as it goes. you got 16 threads and plenty storage. just need to customize your ESXI to include driver for RT 8125 network card and you good to go. i run about 20 VMs on ESXI 24/7 on this box and has been rock solid. it runs cool and quite even at 65W profile with 100% processor utilizationi just wish they came with 64G standard and Dual NIC Intel card so the ESXI can support it natively. But if you uses linux hypervisor like proxmox, then all features, including WLAN, are supported natively.

Do not waste your money
Overall this is a great PC. It’s fast enough for most daily tasks and can handle light gaming easily running most titles at 1080p medium settings. It looks great on my desk and is quiet even under a heavy load. It is genuinely good value for the money.HOWEVER:This PC comes with an illegitimate Windows key. When Microsoft finds out the flag your account for fraud. I have now gotten three separate Windows keys from Beelink and all have either not worked at all or are fraudulent.I would love to give this a five star review but, for that major reason I cannot recommend anything at all from this brand and would strongly advise anyone to stay away from them. There are plenty of other mini PCs out there and realistically with some fairly basic knowledge and a youtube video or two you could build a more powerful and upgradable PC yourself.

Fantastic for emulation!!
I’ve been using this for about half a year now and love it. I use it for Batocera and it runs everything extremely well, including PS3, Xbox 360, and Switch emulation. The 7840HS is great for PS3 emulation because it supports AVX512.Although I have not had any need to contact tech support, I gave them two stars for it because I hate that Beelink does not make BIOS updates available online.

Video Editing Machine
Mounts right on the back of my monitor with the included hardware. Edits and renders video fast. Plenty of storage, great connectivity right out of the box. No bloatware. I am very happy with this purchase.I use it as a one trick pony – video editing for my YouTube channel – so I can’t speak to any other uses, but so far, so VERY happy!

The Best
Don’t cheap out with no name competitors. Beelink is the best. I have the SER4 and now the SER7. Both have more UEFI (BIOS) settings than I’ve ever seen. With the 4 I had to adjust fan ramp settings to the point it sounds like a fighter jet to keep it hovering at 70°C when QHD gaming. The 7 seems to be much smarter and /or just has a much better cooling system than the old gen. The 4 is a great machine, just can’t handle light 4k gaming. But, the 7 sure can. Impressed and won’t be switching brands anymore. Someone tell Beelink to make the SER8 with an Oculink port already! Some reviews say the magnetic power strip is finicky. It’s not like the thing is going to come unplugged unless you are just careless. One con comes to mind is that it will not accept a SATA SD/HDD. It does however have a spare NVMe slot right under the base plate.
