An absolute joy to use
I hadnât tried a Pixel phone since the Pixel 2 XL, which was one of my all time favorite devices. I decided to stick to Appleâs ecosystem since then, just for simplicity sake, since the rest of our family all use iPhones. I decided to bite the bullet and dip my toe back in the Android world with the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, and I have to say, I could not be happier with the decision.Battery life has been phenomenal and Iâve not hit the end of a day where I was lower than 60% left. Thatâs with a fairly extensive use of the device, including video watching, replying to emails, using navigation, and some casual browsing. I donât really do much game playing so I canât speak to that.Phone quality has felt fantastic. Iâve no complaints what so ever on how the device feels in the hand, or behaves. The OS feels buttery smooth and the hardware is just delightful to use.All of the screens are very good, but being a foldable, itâs really all about that interior display, and Iâve been thoroughly pleased with it. There is a slight crease where the phone folds but you honestly donât notice it when youâre using the device. Just if the light hits it just right or youâre dragging something with your finger across the length of it. But thatâs true of all foldable.Durability seems good, although itâs early days. Iâd highly recommend a case that protects the hinge because Iâve been reading a few reports online of folks getting small rocks or even sand trapped in the hinge or inner display and it causing problems. No surprises there really, Iâd expect that to be a risk. The face unlock works pretty well, except in low light conditions. But the fingerprint reader works flawlessly so, unlike my iPhone, Iâm not forced to immediately resort to a PIN. Also, if you pair this with a Pixel Watch 3, the watch can act like youâre biometric unlock, so you almost never need to deal with any of that anyway. Great stuff!

Amazing Phone
Great foldable phone! Google did good. Not going back to a regular slab phone. Front display look and function as a regular phone. I suggest to get a case with hinge protection and get some insurance to protect this investment. Battery life is good. I don’t game much though. Speed is fast. The phone quality feels premium.

Love this Phone
Just got the phone 2 days ago and it was a big upgrade from my S22 software is nice os is simple and the inner display is big and birght been playing games and watching tv on it. Only con i can think of is after 40 mins of gaming starts to lag a tiny bit but it is not as bad as people say. Overall would recommend!!

The Future of Smart Phones
This is the greatest phone ever made so far! Its like having a Computer in your hands when you open the big screen! The Price is high but if you really want to invest in a good phone! save up for this one! The camera on this phone is 10x better then my old iPhone. This phone is the reason why I left Apple!

Bottom Speaker doesn’t work
I recently purchased this device and noticed that the bottom speaker doesn’t work. I went through customer service and they said they could replace the phone but I would need to ship it and in 5 – 7 days, I would get a new device. I can’t just not have a phone for 5-7 business days. On reddit, there are a few people with the same issue, I have no damage on the device, the bottom speaker just doesnt work and for $2,000 I am livid. I love the device itself and that’s why I gave it 2 stars, the issue is the bottom speaker. I’m disappointed in Google and after a few years, I think I will go to samsung or apple. I don’t recommend this.

Even on sale this phone is still very expensive, but I decided to treat myself. I have eyesight limitations which make reading a small screen problematic and some Apps don’t allow for enlargement. The larger screen works great in most circumstances. The phone has all the features I wanted like wireless charging, 5G and a high end camera system. Migration of Apps and data from my old Samsung was very easy and even the SIM card transfers digitally. The only thing I didn’t like was the very slippery feel of the phone in my hands. It takes a bit of dexterity to open the fold feature without the phone slipping through the fingers. This made me worry about dropping it especially when using the camera. I invested in a genuine leather case by Torro which makes the phone bulkier, but also makes it feel much more secure in my hands. I highly recommend the case as well.

So far love the phone, it doesn’t feel as strong as the z fold6, but it matches the quality! It has a better battery and the front screen being bigger is wonderful! The experience of going from the outside screen to the inner is seemless. One warning which no one tells you, if you buy from amazon you CANNOT buy insurance from google, so i would 100% suggest buying insurance from amazon with the purchase of the phone.Last tip, if you buy the phone and plan on getting the watch and headphones, get the phone first, open the gemini app and sign up for the free 12 months of google + gemini, you then get 10% cashback on all google store purchases, so currently you get £50 in store credit (during the current promotion) when buying the watch as well as an extra 40-50 for the google one plan. Same for the headphones, £30 and the extra 40-50.

I honestly love this phone. I use the split screen a lot with my job so it’s perfect! The battery life is good too. Really, the only thing that I dislike, is the price. I don’t understand why there’s that big of a gap between the 9 pro and the fold. I bought it during the Black Friday so I saved a lot but still…At retail, it’s getting absurd. But, like I said, I really love it.

This is a whole new experience compared to the original pixel fold. Much lighter, thinner, faster and bigger. Not cheap by any means but knocks the Samsung equivalent out of the park.
