This works better than i thought!
This thing is worth the money! I have an otter box defender of my s7 active and holds it with no problem. Steelie is expensive, but worth the cash. This trucker is happy with his purchase. I have the regular dash mount, the vent mount, and now the suction cup mount. One mount for all parts of my truck! Last thing, this mount is made of aluminum I believe, I was expecting that plastic material. In other words, it’s made to last!Update, this is a must have for any driver. I have a heavy phone because of the case, I was expecting it to move around or even fall off. Not the case here. In the picture I have the window mount with the vent mount attached.

INCREDIBLE…STABLE…OUTSTANDING…JUST BUY IT !!!
I had my doubts about this mount, having been disappointed with wimpy configurations and lame suction cups with other mounts. Not this one. The suction cup welds itself to the windshied and the mount is infinately adjustable and then locks with a death grip on your phone. This is by far the very best mount Iâve ever had the pleasure of using. This is a serious mount and does an incredible job. If you need a realllly good mount, just get it. You wonât be sorry!!

Great for a van or SUV with a big window
We have the small Steelies that attach to our air vents in all of our cars but our new van had a gigantic window that I can barely reach without my seat belt on. I installed this in less than 5 sections and it has not fallen off once with weather ranging from 0 to 70 degrees. I positioned it low in the window and it does not affect my line of vision while I’m driving and still lets me access my GPS easily. Great product!

I bought this to mount in my vehicle and use with my phone that has the Steelie magnet. After showing it to my wife she procured it for herself to use to hold her phone inside the house when she is face timing. Guess I will have to order another one for myself. It offers a lot of flexibility in mounting options and holds to most non porous surfaces well. If the suction cup holds up it should last for a very long time. Shop prices for the best deal. Local dealers want about a 15 dollar premium over shopping online in my area. Recommended product.

I have used different Steelie mounts for my phones for years and they are always THE BEST. With a new iphone and wanting to use MagSafe accessories, I decided to look for other car mounts that wouldn’t require the socket mounted permanently on the back of my case as I have always done. So … I ventured out to try a few different dash mounts, including the highly rated Spigen … but when i mounted the Nite Ize Steelie windshield mount onto my dash disc and snapped my phone and MagSafe case onto the Steelie Orbiter Socket, I immediately regretted having tried ANY of these other mounts.NOTHING compares to the rigidity and solidness of the Steelie mount, and no magnet has come close to the holding power that this combo offers. Thank you, Steelie, for always being the best. I’m sorry I wasted my time with the others. I should never doubt you!
