Purchased twice before.
I’ve purchased this stand twice before, and I’ve been using it daily for five years straight. It still works exceptionally well! After more than five years, the glue on the pads is starting to weaken, but that’s to be expected with such long-term use. Overall, it’s a small, lightweight, yet sturdy stand. Definitely a 5-star product!

Perfectly Plastic for my Paperwhite BUT watch that powerbutton.
I very much like that it’s plastic. It’s very light and doesn’t scratch anything. It cradles my naked Kindle 2024 12th Gen Paperwhite nicely, EXCEPT… that pesky power button is in the way! My kindle sits on it’s own power button (but why?) and THAT is a PROBLEM.To fix this, I cut out a short piece of the cradle’s neoprene padding (as shown in one of my pics). The kindle’s powerbutton now sits in there without being depressed.After all, who needs a depressed kindle?This all won’t be a problem for YOUR kindle because it’s in a case/cover that protects the button.The stand’s lower cradle-bottom area isn’t huge, but it shoulld still work to support your covered kindle. The stand holds my Pixel phone just fine even though it’s in a bulky case.It’s a fine stand. They should make one with a larger cradle to support large devices in larger, bulky cases.

Collapses too easily
I’m using an iPad 10th gen with an otter box case, and not only does it barely fit in the lip of the stand, but a slight bump to the stand causes the hinge to give out and collapse.Perhaps the iPad is just too big and heavy with a case on it, but anyone not putting a case on their expensive tablets in the year 2024 is gambling with their money imo.But even if it didn’t have a case on it, the stand just feels kinda flimsy… it works well enough in a pinch, but the flaws detract from the experience
