Complete failure
Had these for ONE week, and every time I turn them on they say “Power on” only to immediately say “Power off” Battery is at 97% restarted my computer and it stayed on for 30 seconds before doing the same thing.Headset stays on as long as the dongle is not plugged in, as soon as it connects it powers off the headset. If I try to use bluetooth it bugs out and creates this hollow sound to my normal PC audio as if it’s coming through a microphone.Can’t find any support whatsoever. This is my third razer headset that hasn’t worked as advertised or completely failed on me. Usually when you pay for branding it’s because the product is guaranteed to be better than the rest. Obviously Razer has taken that for granted and basically just started scamming its customers.

Surprising Comfort and Audio with Great Flexibility
The Razer Barracuda X Chroma Wireless Gaming Headset: 2.4GHz Wireless & Bluetooth – Lightweight – Chroma RGB – 40mm Drivers – Cardioid Mic – 70 Hr Battery – for PC, Mac, PS5, Switch, Smartphone – Black are surprisingly comfortable headphones with spacious audio and great flexibility. I was happy to find out how comfortable these phones are – much more than most phones in their price range and even significantly more expensive ones. I wore them for hours and they didn’t impinge on my ears at all. This is a significant feat and definitely an improvement over most phones. I didn’t feel like my head was in a vice or that I was being squeezed like an orange. While these aren’t noise cancelling headphones the ear cups do block most of the ambient noise in the area.Having multiple modes available for connectivity is a bonus for headphones, especially for gamers. The ability to switch between WiFi and bluetooth is sweet but they also offer a direct wire connection for maximum speed for hardcore gaming. The spatial awareness of the sound is excellent with these phones. There is real placement of sounds outside your ears. The large drivers help with this but also provide a realism that helps locate action. The drivers also reproduce music better than would be expected for a gaming headset. I like that all the controls are on the left side as I am left handed making adjustments easier. I do miss any type of pause button or action when listening to music on my phone. However, phone calls are good and the mic works well without sibilance or distortion. The ability to unplug the mic when listening to music, especially while walking or otherwise engaged, is a pleasing addition.The big takeaways for me with these phones is the outstanding comfort, the excellent audio quality, and reasonable price. That makes these phones big winners.

Great sound bad mic
This headset sounds great for gaming and music. In call of duty you can hear sounds that some people canât. However your friends will constantly tell you your microphone is bad. Itâs muffled and a little unclear. Battery life is amazing but build quality feels inferior when comparing it to older razer headsets.
