Long battery life
I really like these headphones. They are comfortable and the sound is great. The build quality is also very good. They are easy to set up, charge quickly and last a long time.

So far, so great!
I switched from using Turtle Beach for the last 6+ years. I’m tired of the cheap plastic that ALWAYS cracks. This time I went with the Rig, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier. They are super comfortable, super lightweight, volume is loud! Functionality is so far on par with anything I ever used, except the volume control knob is awesome! That tactile feel is what I love. Mic functionality sounds great on the receiving end for everyone else. Value for money is on par with anything else on the market, and I’ll never buy Turtle Beach again.

Had them for three months
I’ve only had to charge these twice in three months, and I pretty much game every day. I use the Dolby App to create custom EQ settings and they are awesome for games like PUBG that require good hearing for footsteps. They are sturdy and comfortable too. This is the first headset I’ve found that is more comfy than my Cloud IIs. I don’t mind wearing them all day.My one and only problem is there’s no bluetooth for dual connectivity with my phone or PC while I’m using them on my Xbox.

Steps to troubleshoot await
So, I was going to return it, but after troubleshooting and watching many videos on various other headsets, I got it to stop randomly disconnecting every few minutes. The troubleshooting was as follows:1. Turned off my 2.4 g wifi signal2. Deleted Dolby app3. Moved connection from front to back4 drug wire across room and set next to meAfter which, it started to work and did not disconnect. I then went and began reversing the process and turned the Wi-Fi on, reinstalled the app, moved back across the room, and with all of that, it still worked fine. Finally, I moved the connection to the back, and within five minutes, it started to randomly disconnect. I now have a charging station behind the TV and a transmitter in the front of the Xbox, and it works fine, so there is something interfering in the back. Overall, the sound is great. The Atmos is awesome as far as hearing where something is and sounds good with music from games as well. The mic can be a bit weird at times. Sometimes I am too loud for people, and sometimes I am not. I am not sure if that is me or the mic. It does get pretty loud on the volume. Overall, I like the build of it. It could use more breathable ear cups, but that is nitpicking. I charged it up after figuring out the problem and played for six hours, and it says it is still on high battery, so it is still full of charge. I will have to see how long it lasts. I like the charge base with the USB in it if you can use it that way. I can’t, as stated, but it is a cool design.UPDATE: After three weeks of six hours of daily use, I charged it twice. The first time, it reached medium charge after a week. I then stretched the next use to two weeks; it was still on medium when I charged it again. Didn’t take but a few hours to charge back up.

Wouldn’t recommend, Mic quality is HORRIBLE!
Mic quality is horrible, can hardly pick up my voice unless I’m yelling into it, receiving end is really crunchy. I dont have problems with other headsets so I know its not my laptop or my internet quality. Audio quality is okay and I dont notice a difference if I change the settings, it really isnt worth the price. I will be returning this headset.
Perfect fit and definitely best headlight upgrade for my truck. –
Make sure to check the difference between the 800HX and the 800HS.
Love this headset! It’s beat quality for the price that I’ve found. I’m a tall guy I have a big head and this headset fits me perfectly and the ear Buffalo cover my ears to help immerse me into whatever game it is that I play. Only downside I’d have to say is idk if it’s a software issue or a connectivity issue, but when I turn it on to connect to my gaming system it’ll connect then disconnect then connect and stay connected. Other than that great item for the price!!!

Just do it.
TLDR: If you’re reading this, just pull the trigger. You’re reading this because you’re wondering if any of these reviews are real. I did the same thing.I’d never heard of RIG before my wife bought me a wired set for my birthday. They were fantastic. The way these are designed, they keep the weight of the headset off of your head.. The only reason you know these are on is because of your ears. Sound quality, the environmental quality (eg. hear it left, you see it left when you turn left – Positioning, maybe? I dunno.. these are great for “positional hearing”)I put the set my wife bought me on my seat and went to the bathroom.. came back, and sat on em and broke them.. I may have had a few beers.. So, I enjoyed the headset so I looked at current RIG offerings, and came across this wireless set. Now, I’ve been thru the expensive ones, the “popular brand” ones.. and they were all crap. Batteries failed, didn’t last., no distance… whatever. So, I wrote off “wireless” headsets. BUT, with RIG, I was so impressed with the wired headset I sat on and broke, I saw this wireless set and decided to give it a go.I’ve been a gamer since, literally, Pong. I have been in IT for over three decades.I’m impressed.. from the quality of the sound, the quality of the Mic, the battery life… EVERYTHING. Still the same lightweight “band” that keeps the headset weight off your head..You won’t be disappointed unless you get a unit that isn’t 100% functional from the factory like mine is… and lets face reality.. nothing is 100% in manufacturing.I’ve not had to deal with returns, refunds, or replacement… just a happy old guy who was impressed with the quality for the price. If you’re in the market and doing the due dilligence research… Like Nike Said… Just Do it. You won’t be disappointed.

This is the most comfortable headset I’ve worn yet. Great for long sessions of gaming or watching media etc. I often found regular headsets to make the top of my head sore due to the weight pushing down on my scalp. Since these have a band going across your head and the main weight supported above, they feel quite weightless. Hopefully this holds up over time. The docking station to charge is also super handy and no longer requires me looking for my USB to plug it in.Small complaint but I wish when muting your mic by pushing it up or hitting other buttons on the side it wouldn’t cut your other incoming sound. No software (which can be nice) but that also means no real customization you can do.

The bass is over the top, it distorts so badly you can’t hear anything else.
