Easy Install! Highly Adjustable!
I have a 2014 Kia Sorento and have used an iOttie dash mount phone holder similar to this Romuto. However, the way the iOttie is designed it puts the phone high on the dash obstructing my view of the road to a degree and it was a little too far away to reach conveniently. Plus it uses a spring loaded gripping mechanism to hold the phone that was somewhat difficult to open and close. The iOttie worked great with my One Plus Nord N200 but I just purchased a Motorola G 5G and bought a case with magnetic capability. The metal kickstand on the back of the case made the case thicker and the iOttie was somewhat questionable on its ability to hold the phone securely. Thus the purchase of the Romuto.What I like most about the Romuto is that it holds the phone much lower relative to the dash giving a better view of the road. One concern I had was whether it would block the view of my infotainment center. It does not and I can easily get to all the infotainment controls and still see the clock built into the dash. And, the magnets are strong enough to hold the phone securely but release the phone easily. A nice balance! Check out my pros and cons below to help you make your purchase decision.Pros:Good quality materials/SturdyGreat magnetic holding strength/easy release. Just different.You should also note from the pics I included that I installed the Romuto to the left of center of the dash. Doing so brings the phone closer to me and by rotating the arm to the left I avoided covering up my infotainment center.Side note: My new phone uses Android 13. This version of Android has a Smart Lock feature so you can add trusted Bluetooth devices to your phone like your car or ear buds. This feature automatically unlocks your phone when paired with these devices so you no longer have the hassle of constantly unlocking your phone when the screen goes black. Using Google Assistant can now let you be totally hands free making you a much safer driver!

This really holds my phone.
I didn’t know if this was going to hold my phone while driving. But it did went over bumps and never fell off. I really like this. Good product and can’t beat the price. Just make sure that you have the right phone case for this it does come with magnets so you can stick them on your phone or case. Just have to have a flat surface.

This Romuto Magnetic Phone Holder is working great on the dash of my â08 Toyota Tundra.There is some small bouncing, vibration transmitted from the truck. Itâs not enough to bother me, but it does bother my partner. We eliminated the shaking by placing a tightly rolled cloth under the arm of the phone holder.

Works as intended however…
The product works as intended. Suction power is great, easy to install and fairly sturdy. The unit does shake during driving but I have had other mounts in the past that did the same. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is due to the adhesive mounting plate in which the suction portion of the mount attaches. The adhesive plate you apply before you use the suction clamp on the mount will slowly peel away from the mounting surface in hot weather. I have only used the unit for a month and it was fine during cool climate but lately the weather is getting warmer that’s when the adhesive plate started to peel away from the dash board.

unfortunately this product did not work for my car, it was placed on a flat surface and would fall off by the time I got back to my car. I was really hopeful as I liked that it couldmove, but we were not compatible.

Iâve had a variety of these gadgets over the years and each one had some sort of shortcoming: the phone holder wasnât strong enough to take the weight, the magnet was too weak, and so on. So I was actually reluctant to try again after so many failures and disappointments. Let me say I was surprised and definitely not disappointed.First off, Iâll start by saying the biggest complaint Iâve had with magnetic phone holders was the support mechanism. A suction cup support system is good, but not always reliable. I had too many bad experiences of it failing when most needed. These of course occurred when I needed to use my phoneâs GPS.So I have to say the best feature of this gadget is the strength of the suction cup mounting system. I live in Arizona where temps typically run between 95 and 110. I initially had a lot of doubt about how well the mount could endure the heat and stay attached to my carâs dash. To my surprise it still has a death grip on my dash. Amazing! No more phone slippage and no more frustration. I can now use my phone GPS without any aggravation.Good job guys, you have a reasonably priced product that delivers everything as promised!
