When you need it, nothing else will do
This works perfectly with my Stant pressure tester. It’s a little pricey for a single piece, but less than buying a whole assortment of adapters, 90% of which you will never use, and the effectiveness of the one you need is questionable. My pressure tester works great, is totally reliable, and will last a long time. If I get another vehicle that my current kit does not work with, I will gladly get another Stant adapter to work with it.

Like everything about this product
Good quality, have used 5 times and worked good every time. I hesitated to purchase this product due to some negative feedback but my experience is positive. The material is plastic with a rubber ‘O’ ring for the pressure seal but so is the coolant system cap from the mfg (plastic w/’O’ ring). Possibly people with the negative experience did not realize the seal is at the ‘O’ ring and they used too much force when using,

Does not fit as intended
The internal threads on this adapter are machined wrong which prevents it from screwing onto the recovery tank of my 2007 Silverado Classic 2500HD Duramax. Since it does not thread on to the recovery tank it does not seal and that is kind of important when you want to pressure test the cooling system.

Super
This was the perfect addition to my Stant tester I’ve owned for 25 years and it works great!

Doesn’t last forever
I’m a professional technician, so my tools get allot of use and abuse. This worked great for almost a year. But when it fails, it fails hard. The adapter exploded and I got a bath in coolant. Luckily it wasn’t hot. That said, it’s great for the home user. Professionals should buy snap on or equivalent. Still worth 4 stars, because the price is right. I’m buying another one of the same to replace the one that broke.

Good quality and nice product and price.
Nice product for General Motors vehicles. It fit my blue point pressureTester. This would have been a hardTool to find unless you have an account with a tool truck. Thank you amazon.
