Great price for a great device
1. Product arrived much earlier than expected.2. Box arrived a little beat up but the product itself is basically flawless (minus some light marks where someone had a keyboard attached).3. No issues with performance even with multiple programs running (including a 3D anatomy application).4. Prior owner installed Windows 10 Pro which is great.5. Windows hello works well.6. Tablet is light-weight and very portable.7. Speakers are pretty great for a tablet – I use this to watch prerecorded lectures while taking notes on my laptop.I am very happy with my purchase! Excellent quality and service.

Not a power house, but so far itâs been great. Itâs my mini Surface. Lol
So far I love it. I also have the Surface Pro i5. So far this thing can run photoshop 6 portable. I can play low in games, tested Craft the world. I got the 8 gb ram version. This is a renewed one, I could not tell it was used. Got my decal from DecalGirl. I like that it only has a usb c and no usb a. My pen also work right away on.Only thing to make it purfect is if GoodNotes would port already.

Windows on a tablet?
I thought I would try a touchscreen tablet for a change away from my desktop PC. I bought this, a used iPad of the same size, and a slightly smaller Android tablet for comparison. I will not rate the iPad or Android devices here. This Surface Go is listed as a certified refurbished unit but it looks brand new, not a scratch on it. Kudos all around for that. Comes with Windows 10 installed. Stylus pen (bought separately) works great. Startup procedure is similar to that on Android devices. Does not come with a keyboard, mouse, or stylus. Those must be purchased separately. Bottom edge has provision to attach to special keyboard having eight pogo pins for connection.Cons: Comes with Windows 10. Windows was designed to work with keyboard and mouse input and Microsoft is trying to convert it over to touchscreen and stylus. I find it awkward. I can tolerate Win 10 on my PC, but not on a tablet. Many of the right-mouse button menus seem to be missing. Not good for word documents or spreadsheets. Microsoft is doing a great job of chasing me away from Windows to Android, Mac OS, or linux. I’d rather go back to Windows XP or 7. I personally do not want to be tied to the cloud. But if you like Windows 10 and want a touchscreen/stylus device, by all means consider this unit, it works really well.

Great for Kids
When we had to start home schooling the kids due to COVID-19, we purchased two of these and they have been awesome! I have a Surface Pro 5 that I love and I wanted something that I was already familiar with for them. The screen is small, but it’s been the perfect computer for them. Reliable & good battery life. I expect that it will work for them for many years to come!

Painfully slow
Don’t waste your money on this. I’m trying to apply for jobs and all i have open is my resume and LinkedIn and this machine can’t even handle that. It’s painfully slow and laggy.I’ve tried doing video calls over both Whatsapp and teams and they always lag and crack. Whereas my phone (iphone SE) can handle it no problem on the same network. The screen is also too small. The form factor is not ergonomical at all for using on your lap. Just don’t buy it.If you are into torturing yourself in the most desperate times, knock yourself out.

Great Tablet/laptop
Recent Edit: I noticed the price is more than I origenlly paid by $60. So adjust that into a bundle pricing.I bought this tablet for my son for college. I had bought the 4/64GB tablet but returned it for lack of power. It was $379. The 8/128GB is fantastic, It does not come with a keyboard or pen. So now, he ccomes home from school and uses a USB C to HDMI adapter for $12 to hook it up to a TV and uses a wireless mouse and keyboard. I think its perfect, Word/ Exel, Powerpoint, and all work flawlessly. You’re not going to play Fallout 4 or 3, but Fallout 1/2 do work. So, you can judge its gaming capacity.Overall, I would recommend this tablet. It can replace everything if you are a light user, but if you do something more than office I would have regular PC ready. I spent total $510 for the whole package tablet/keyboard/cover/ ubb c/hdmi adapter.

Great portable system
I put off getting a surface for a long time. I’m really glad I finally gave in, this thing is nice for work, church, school, and fun. It’s got enough power to play some lower end games (Rimworld was my test). I was worried about the pen performance when I first got it, because I got a generic pen, and it just wasn’t performing. After I got a real Microsoft pen, it was awesome for taking notes, annotating PDFs, etc..
