Great Value, Great Tablet
The Veikk S640 is a fantastic little tablet that suits all my needs! Sometimes I have to take drawing on the go (whether it’s during my work break, or in between classes in college) and the size and lightweight feel of this tablet is perfect to slip into my bag and take with me anywhere! While the tablet is small, it is still rather sturdy and that’s something I normally worry about with small tablets. This tablet looks as it’s built to last!The tablet came in nice packaging and the box included all necessary extras for the tablet, instruction guide, tablet driver instructions, a pen, extra pen tips (and remover), and a tablet-attached USB wire for computer connection.I found that the extra set of 8 pen tips (and remover) to be super useful because I draw a lot of the time and I tend to wear out the nibs after long hours of use. The pen itself has a nice feel to it, has a good weight, sturdy, and comfortable. It glides easily along the surface of the tablet. The tablet surface also has a sleek feel and proved to work well while sitting on my lap or when placed on a desk. The drivers are also very easy to install, and I’m definitely not a tech-wiz, but I found this tablet setup to be quick and painless.I also had a family member test out the tablet, as I had heard tablets work well for the popular rhythm game OSU! The tablet’s size, weight, and feel made the rhythm game a lot of fun to play and I highly recommend this tablet to OSU players as well as artists.For such a great tablet, the price can’t be beat and I highly recommend this tablet as a great entryway into art or OSU!

Great for beginners!
Iâve purchased this new tablet to try out this new brand and replace my older Wacom Intuos tablet. That tablet isnât in terrible shape, but itâs been mishandled while I was flying back home and slightly worn at as a result. Iâve had this tablet for about a month, and Iâve been using it primarily to draw (I use Clip Paint Studio).Starting off, Iâd like to say that this is a really nice tablet. It has a nice and sleek design, and while it looks fragile because of its thinness, it has been quite sturdy for me. I donât have a desk inside my room, so when I want to be lazy and stay in my room with my small lap desk that the tablet could not fit on, I was able to still use the tablet by holding it. It also works perfectly on a flat surface as well. Additionally, there have been times where I was a little careless and accidentally stepped on it since I left it on the ground, but itâs still intact and working despite that. That said, do take care of your products to ensure they last the longest– but itâs absolutely beginner-friendly because itâs a cheap investment AND pretty sturdy despite it, letting it be privy to mistakes.One problem that did happen was the occasional popping up of the tablet driver software on random occasions, but itâs easy to close out of. Lately, it hasnât been occurring, though.Of course, youâll have to adjust your pen pressure and such depending on the software you use. While I was drawing, it felt a little loose, but that was easily fixed with further adjustment of my pen pressure settings. The mapping works great, but for me, it takes up the whole tablet translating to the entire screen, so youâll have to move your hand all the way to the corner if you wanted to click a button in the corner. For this, you could just switch to your mouse to take care of these, but youâre able to adjust the mapping in the VEIKK tablet drive software easily.My experience with this tablet has been similar to using my Wacom Intuos. That tablet was double the price of the VEIKK S640, but the VEIKK S640 works just as well. Overall, itâs been easy to adjust to and I actually find myself liking it more than my old Wacom Intuos. Another downside is that thereâs no holder for the tablet pen, so you must be very careful not to lose it. There arenât the same buttons on the tablet like on the Intuos, but I found them useless and bothersome, so I actually prefer the sleek and minimal design of the VEIKK.I definitely recommend getting this as a beginner tablet, it functions great (especially for its price) as a beginner tablet. I heard you can play OSU with it, but it works great for drawing too. I attached one of the drawings I did with it.

Great for beginners on a budget
After using this tablet for a few weeks, I can say confidently that it’s a great, affordable, and lightweight option for beginner artists, or OSU players who want a sensitive, fast responding surface. It’s thin, easy to set up, and the pen is light enough that it doesn’t get in the way of using it.This tablet is small, smaller than I first thought it was, but it reacts very well and has many layers of pressure sensitivity, which is handy for getting more depth in your art. Because it’s a small surface, it takes a bit of adjusting to if you’re used to a larger tablet. However, I do think it’s much more portable and will likely carry it around myself, when I can’t lug my 100$ drawing tablet around.Another pro, it’s incredibly affordable (about 30$ when I got it) and it doesn’t seem to suffer for it in a technical way. The only issue I ran into when drawing with it was lines coming out stiff when drawing fast circles, but in a finished piece this didn’t impact my ability to draw at all. It also doesn’t necessarily feel like the smoothest surface to be drawing on, but it’s passable for how much it costs, and how easy it is to use.I definitely recommend, when you download the driver, to uninstall other tablet drivers like the instructions say to, if you have any. The drivers might interfere and make it difficult to use either or both tablets. I forgot to uninstall my Huion driver and ended up having to uninstall and reinstall both tablet drivers to get them to work. But if you run into an issue, it’s nothing a little troubleshooting can’t fix. That, and the driver interface is easy enough to navigate that I was never able to not find anything I was looking for.All in all, again, as an artist myself I highly recommend it for beginners on a budget!

This is my second Veikk product and I have no complaints except I wish I had gotten it sooner (the package was lost by Amazon and had to be reordered)!Pros:- Sleek packaging- Easy set-up and easy to use- Battery free pen (light as a feather)- Compact and slim, easy for traveling with- Great for OSU! (as advertised), I was able to- Quick, responsive, and helpful customer support- Beautiful looking tablet and penYou should get this tablet along with another tablet as this is great for travelling with the compact size, but you may prefer a bigger tablet for home/office situations.
