Fantastic value for the right application
My media server of 10 years finally bit the big one and I wasn’t anxious to put one dime in it.I wanted a small footprint form factor PC with plenty of memory and a SSD drive for the OS. I realised that the small caseI was going restrict my ability to upgrade this system’s graphics, but, for FHD streaming along with locally stored movies, this system provides all the speed and video quality required for a trouble free, pleasant media experience.This PC was well prepped and the Windows 10 OOBE (out of box experience) configuration tool worked well and was easy to use. The case showed little signs of previous use and was packaged very well for safe shipment. The refurbished key worked flawlessly and I had it up, configured and running in no time.The physical configuration of this PC is not for everyone, you will never be able to upgrade this into a gaming machine for anything more complex than solitaire and minesweeper. However, if you need a system for simple internet access, basic computing, back office applications, etc., this system is one heck of a value with more horsepower than you would ever need.

Works for my needs
This is the second computer I have bought refurbished that was prepared by SKYTECH USA LLC. These folks do a great job of refurbishing older computers and the have great support in case things don’t go exactly as planned.This is a nice little unit that I mainly use for email and such. It’s not a gaming setup by any means and it wasn’t my intention to use it as such.It’s only been a few days since I set it up but everything works as it should. Its very quiet and runs Windows 10 Pro just fine.My main reason for buying this computer is because all my other computers are running Windows 7 Pro or Linux. Since Microsoft is not going to support Win 7 anymore, I decided to have at least 1 Windows 10 computer on hand. All my other (except for my linux systems) computers will be pulled off the internet since they won’t be supported by Microsoft anymore.Personally, I think Windows 7 was a solid platform and I never had any issues with updates like the nightmare things I’ve been having to deal on my Uncle’s Windows 10 computer. Seemes like all of us are the Windows 10 Beta Testers. At least I learned enough from working on my Uncle’s computer all the time.Not a huge fan of Windows 10 mainly because of dealing with the aftermath of issues from updates on my Uncle’s computer. He’s 80 years old and not the most tech savvy type of person.

Great for the money and it serves my purposes well. The only issue I have is with the sound quality. It is very poor and sounds like it is coming out of a tin can. Everything else was good for me.

Buy only if you have a wifi adapter and hours to spend
So the product was purchased to serve as my at home pc, so that I could do class work and work on progams in a non cluttered environment. Well the pc turned on and was an immediate failure from jump. First, they dont advise that it comes without wireless capabilities, so I had to purchase and wait for a wireless adapter to help my issue. Then, once I recieved it, and set up the adapter I was able to go on websites like google and facebook but nothing else. Every other website, macys, amazon, zola, you name it was non functional. It said the website timed out. Okay, I couldnt stand the thought of it being a “me” problem so I tried a wired connection which shared the same issue. When I called an “Amazon Expert” to assist with the issue, they went through all of the things a functional adult would do. No fix. Now we are here. A glorified paper weight and no closer to being able to do work.

Decent for the money
Decent performance for a desktop, great form-factor. With the SSD and 8GB it is a wonderful Win10 workstation. It is a little difficult navigating the HP website to get the BIOS update for this system (you have to specify that it runs Win7 x64), and I think the refurbishers should apply the BIOS update before it is shipped. Nonetheless, I have deployed 3 of these and they are all working flawlessly.

Works, great. Fast little machine with the solid state hard-drive, boots-up in about 15 seconds. Will be purchasing another one. Great for anyone looking for a tiny office pc, Point of Sale terminal, or tiny home computer. The key to these refurbished computers is to turn them on, get them on the internet, and let them spend a few days updating windows. Refurbished computers are know to have operating systems that may not have the latest Windows Update. Because there is only constant with Windows-Updating. I always recommend letting the computer update first before installing any additional software or hardware. Windows updates are very well known for deleting or corrupting drivers and software. So get the updates installed first, before you start using. Would also make a fast, Linux pc, small NAS, or server. The key is the solid state drive. Note: These are very small computers, with components that are in close quarters. So I never recommend in areas with high heat. They also usually can not handle high graphic gaming etc… As for the small size of the solid state drive- for a business or home, use a NAS drive, server or USB drive. There is no such thing as a 100% virus proof or hack proof computer. The 8G memory should be more than what you will ever need for basic office software or home use and even basic gaming.I have purchased a total of 4 machines, had 1 to come in with wrong power supply, but the customer service was Fantastic! They went out of their way to contact me, even by phone, making sure I was satisfied.

Best purchase for a small home office.
Completely happy with this purchase. I run a small craft business and I needed an updated computer. This is small, compact tower doesn’t take up much space and is lightweight but is mighty!! It’s easy to set up and works amazing with my silhouette cameo3 and my cricut. It came with a wired keyboard and mouse which I didn’t need because I used wireless accessories.Best buy in my opinion!

I bought this as an inexpensive way to get to Windows 10. It’s quite a fast, though basic computer. Certainly not for gaming or power users, but great for general use and web surfing. A bit of (expected) bloatware and popups in the Windows installation that’s easily cleaned up. Not a very large SSD but outboard storage is not expensive. Forget the mouse and keyboard that come with it, they’ll work but they’re dollar-store quality. Overall a good, fast little machine. I’m writing this review on it.
