Great Customer Service
Bought this for my son’s birthday thinking it would be a good starter computer for him and for the price I thought it wouldn’t be too bad.It arrived earlier than expected, and we all were excited.Open it up to only find a tower. No cables, no mouse, no keyboard, no monitor, no way to even power it on. The inside of the tower was very dusty and on the front of the tower it even had a usb mouse dongle but it came with no mouse. Really disappointed.Edit: Contacted customer service and they were really nice and got everything handled. Upgrading my rating due to the awesome customer service.

Renewed/Refurbished to meet or exceeed OEM standards?
Bought this Renewed/Refurbished Dell Optiplex 990 from seller JSM via Amazon to replace an older Dell PC that was failing. However once the “new” Dell was received, my formerly troubled PC revived amazingly so I never opened the well packaged Optiplex until recently when the old computer finally bit the dust. Cranking up the “refurbished” Dell I found almost immediately it had issues, sudden restarts “Your device ran into a problem & will restart”. Contacted JSM and they offered some suggestions that required ME a non-tech to carry out but none of their recommendations worked. I feel JSM sold me a machine that was NOT vetted well for defects and now the return period has expired. I’m stuck with a unit that is not dependable and was NOT repaired or inspected to match or exceed OEM quality standards.

Does not wake up from sleep mode with mouse, it is still a little slow reading I have had better dell that was refurbished not impressed at all with this purchase
